Modern.

2. City or country?

City.

3. Which colors do you use most?
Purple.

4. Favorite materials or textures?
I only use natural fabrics. Linens and Silks.

5. What is your favorite interior design-related word?

Sexy.

6. Does your current home look like the one you grew up in?

My current home is 100% opposite to the home I grew up in.

7. Does a room need a view?

Absolutely. If you have the choice, certainly.

8. Favorite designer or architect?

The renowned Chinese architect, I.M. Pei.

9. Which design blog, website, TV show, or magazine would you be lost without?

Architectural Digest.

10. What qualities do you most admire in a room?

Light. Glass. Windows. I detest clutter, space is very important to me.

11. How does West Coast design differ from East Coast design?

The use of color. The west coast tends to use cremes or whites, whereas the East Coast is bolder. I used to think it was the other way around, but thats not the case.

12. To which city or country would you move for the design?

Paris.

13. What is your most treasured possession?

My Heart.

14. Do you have any decorating traditions for the holiday season?

I absolutely love fairy lights at the holiday season.

15. What is a trend you are anticipating for 2015?

Lots of Brass and Rose Gold metalwork on furniture.

16. What are your go-to paint shades?
Benjamin Moore Smoke Ember.

17. What's your philosophy for window coverings, how do they transform a room?

Beautifully textured fabrics on windows soften any room and makes it more of a home.

18. What was the most fun project and what was the most difficult project?

Most Fun Project: I was designing a home for a financier in a downtown Bowery apartment, and he let me do whatever I wanted. It was stunning.
Most Difficult Project: There is no difficult project. There are just challenges you have to overcome.

19. What's the most over the top project you have worked on?

I once designed three apartments for a Saudi princess in New York that was over the top. One of the homes was an amazing glass windowed apartment and she had me turn it into her own Saudi Palace in New York, complete with canopies, cornices, the works. She absolutely loved it.
