PINK POWER NIGHT AT NADER MUSEUM RAISES AWARENESS AND FUNDS FOR GOLEADORAS

Model, actress, and philanthropist Eglantina Zingg, together with Lourdes Fernandez-Velasco of Miami Fashion Week, hosted Pink Power Night at Nader Art Museum to benefit Goleadoras, a not-for-profit organization that challenges gender disparity and empowers girls and young women around the world using soccer as a tool for change.

The pink-themed soiree featured music by DJ La Negra Fabulosa and the debut performance of the “Goleadoras´ Anthem,” written and composed by Dana Al Fardan, cultural ambassador for the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, and performed by female choristers from The Children’s Voice Chorus, a Miami-based not-for-profit that provides voice lessons and singing opportunities for Miami’s talented young musicians.

Notable guests included El Puma (Jose Luis Rodriguez), Nadia Ferreira, Maria Celeste Arraras, Ariadna Gutierrez, Chris Gayle, Paula Badosa with boyfriend Juan Betancourt, Victor Drija, Willy Martin, Soraya Abu Nabaa, Rodner Figueroa, and Nader Museum founder Gary Nader.

Multidisciplinary artist Soraya Abu Nabaa created two installations in honor of the event: “Between Red and White“ – a garden of three pink floral sculptures in painted aluminum, entitled Hope, Delicate Beauty and Passion; and a boldly hued, mixed-media installation of textiles, soft sculptures, and fabric braids from her Feast of Flowers series. Rendered in colors traditionally attributed to femininity, love and passion, the works will be exhibited at Nader Museum through the end of May 2022. A percentage of all sales will benefit Goleadoras.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed cocktails by Clase Azul Tequila and Stelle & Fortuna sparkling wine, with hors d’oeuvres by Nobu and Coyo Taco. Flower arrangements were crafted by Aniska Creations.
