Rescues & Rosé: ARF Hamptons’ Chic New Summer Event Blends Sips, Socializing, and Second Chances
June 18th, 2025 – The Hamptons social calendar just welcomed a refreshing new addition—and this time, the guest list included adoptable dogs. On a breezy evening in East Hampton, ARF Hamptons (Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, Inc.) introduced Rescues & Rosé, a stylish yet heartwarming summer event that brought together rosé lovers, animal advocates, and the East End’s philanthropic set for a cause that hits close to home.
Held at ARF’s East Hampton campus and hosted by the nonprofit’s Young Professionals Committee, the event served up a seasonal blend of light-hearted luxury and meaningful impact, offering guests the chance to enjoy rosé-fueled revelry while mingling with some of ARF’s most charming adoptable pets.
A Rosé Party with Purpose
While Hamptons summers are no stranger to rosé-fueled soirées, Rescues & Rosé reimagined the genre by infusing it with purpose—and a few tail wags. Attendees were treated to an open bar featuring rosé from Wölffer Estate Vineyard, local wines by Channing Daughters, craft beer from Kidd Squid Brewing Co., and a curated lineup of specialty cocktails. Elevated hors d’oeuvres by Sen and a gourmet raw bar offered a culinary complement to the drinks, creating a casual yet elevated atmosphere fit for a July fête.
Meanwhile, the true headliners—ARF’s adoptable cats and dogs—circulated through the crowd, turning the cocktail hour into a heartstring-pulling meet-and-greet. Guests were invited to pet, pose with, and in some cases, even begin the adoption process for the animals on-site, turning the event into more than a fundraiser—it became a tangible pathway to finding homes.
A Community-Driven Affair
The event was made possible by the ARF Hamptons Young Professionals Committee, a dynamic group dedicated to championing the next generation of rescue advocates. Committee members for the 2025 event included Lindsay Berman, Hana Betts, Skylar Borucke, Meghan Bozek, Kimberly Dautenhahn, Amelia Kaneff, Alana McCarthy Killian, Sklyer Moran, Alyssa Moudis, Elizabeth Mellgard Nelson, Daniel Spelman, and Emily Washkowitz Tarkan.
Their thoughtful curation of Rescues & Rosé proved that fundraising can be both lighthearted and effective—especially when done through the lens of shared values, great drinks, and community spirit.
The guest list reflected that same intersection of style and substance, with attendees including Kim Nichols, Katherine Rayner, Peter Cook and Alba Jancou, Barbara and Emily Washkowitz, Dr. Nicole Leibman, and Frank Morgan and Brent Feigenbaum, among others.
Supporting ARF’s Lifesaving Mission
Proceeds from Rescues & Rosé support ARF’s mission, which since 1974 has focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats and dogs across Long Island and beyond. In addition to adoption services, the organization operates a pet food pantry, offers free spay/neuter clinics for feral cats, and provides year-round dog training and socialization programs.

As far as summer parties go, Rescues & Rosé checked all the right boxes: local wine, elevated bites, a feel-good cause, and the kind of guest list that didn’t require an RSVP to make your heart melt. In a season brimming with social commitments, ARF Hamptons proved that pairing a chilled glass of rosé with rescue advocacy might just be the perfect match.
