Manolo Blahnik has officially arrived in Miami—and not with a whisper, but with a sculptural statement. Marking its first boutique in South Florida, the storied brand has opened a striking new outpost in the heart of the Miami Design District, joining the city’s most creative epicenter of fashion, art, and architecture.

The boutique, which opened in February 2025, is much more than a retail space. Designed in collaboration with longtime creative partner Nick Leith-Smith Architecture + Design, the store embodies a visual narrative inspired by Josef Hoffmann, a key figure of the European Art Deco movement and one of Blahnik’s favorite artists. Hoffmann’s influence is evident in the circular motifs, monochromatic palette, and ornamental detailing that flow across the geometric façade, bespoke wallpaper, and custom rugs inside.

Architecture Meets Craftsmanship

The boutique’s interior is modular and poetic—its individually rotating wall slats transform into floating shelves, adapting to the rhythm of each new collection. Leith-Smith’s approach allows the store itself to become a kind of stage set, where function follows fantasy. As with Manolo’s shoes, nothing is superfluous; every detail serves purpose and aesthetic in equal measure.

Blahnik himself has long had a soft spot for the city.

“The music and madness of Miami is really like no other place on earth,” he says. “The Latin American Cuban influence is omnipresent which I just adore… The sculpture-filled plazas and striking architecture make [the Design District] such a unique and dynamic place.”

CEO Kristina Blahnik echoes the sentiment, noting:

“The energy that radiates from the city is truly unmatched, and it has long been a dream of ours to be a part of this vibrant community.”

Exclusive Miami Capsule Collection

To celebrate the opening, the boutique has launched 13 exclusive shoes across six silhouettes, a curated capsule that speaks directly to the city's flair for individuality. Highlights include:

  • The MAYSALE: A playful pink suede update of the iconic kitten-heeled mule first designed for Isaac Mizrahi’s Spring 1991 show.

  • The CHAOS: A minimal sandal, first introduced in 2013, now reimagined in a chic blend of navy nappa leather with a gingham toe strap.

These pieces, along with the full Spring 2025 collection, are on view now—showcasing the house’s signature balance of timeless elegance and unfiltered creative expression.
