Claudio’s Greenport Unveils Seasonal Openings, New Dining Concepts, and International Debut at Atlantis Paradise Island
April 16th, 2025 – With a legacy stretching back to 1870, Claudio’s Greenport Waterfront Complex has long been a cornerstone of Long Island’s North Fork dining scene. This spring, the iconic waterfront destination enters a bold new chapter—anchored in tradition, elevated by innovation. As the flagship Claudio’s reopens on April 19 with spring weekend hours, the group also announces two new restaurant concepts—Common Country East and Charlie Boy at Claudio’s—set to debut in late May. Perhaps most notably, Claudio’s is going global with the launch of Claudio’s Bahamas, an expansive new outpost at The Coral at Atlantis Paradise Island, opening at the end of April.
The ambitious evolution, led by Gansevoort Street Hospitality and Managing Partner Celeste Fierro, merges waterfront charm with reimagined culinary experiences across three distinct concepts in Greenport—plus a coastal-luxe expansion into the Caribbean.
Claudio’s Greenport: A Seasonal Return to the Dock
Opening April 19, the original Claudio’s in Greenport will resume operations with weekend brunch and lunch service, running Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, before transitioning to full seasonal hours in May. Known for its locally sourced seafood and sweeping harbor views, Claudio’s signature dishes include Lobster Rolls, Baked Clams, New England Clam Chowder, and the house-favorite Smash Burger, all complemented by dockside cocktails like the Mudslide, Rum Punch, and Frosé.
Live entertainment returns for the season beginning May 24, with live music on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and Saturday night DJ sets keeping the party going through closing. It’s a celebration of sun, salt air, and signature North Fork flavors.
New Concepts: Common Country East and Charlie Boy at Claudio’s
As part of its continued reinvention, Claudio’s Waterfront Complex introduces two new restaurants this May:
Common Country East
A complete reimagining of the beloved Crabby Jerry’s, Common Country East captures the relaxed energy of coastal life with an elevated bar and kitchen concept. Expect fresh seafood, modern riffs on classic summer fare, and a beverage menu featuring frozen cocktails, signature spritzes, and a refined whiskey and beer list—all enjoyed against the backdrop of Greenport’s iconic harbor.
Charlie Boy at Claudio’s
Housed in the spaces once home to Claudio’s Tavern & Grill and Claudio’s Pizza, Charlie Boy is an Italian-American café that balances refinement and warmth. This all-day eatery brings a modern lens to heritage dishes, channeling comfort and sophistication into a menu built on approachability and elegance—a perfect pairing for guests looking to enjoy an indulgent meal without sacrificing familiarity.
Claudio’s Bahamas: Coastal Elegance in Paradise
The biggest reveal this season? Claudio’s first-ever international location, opening at The Coral at Atlantis Paradise Island. Designed to echo the maritime spirit of the Hamptons and The Bahamas, Claudio’s Bahamas introduces guests to a nautical-chic environment where design meets destination dining. With Caribbean touches, such as reclaimed wood interiors, historic coastal imagery, and colorful sailboats suspended from the ceiling, the restaurant’s ambiance nods to maritime heritage while embracing contemporary island luxury.
Executive Chef Bakhodir Sharipov leads the kitchen with a family-friendly, seafood-forward menu, highlighting items like Crispy Nassau Grouper, Shrimp Loaded Fries, Conch Chowder, and Lobster Mac & Cheese. The beverage program is equally tailored to the locale, with signature Caribbean cocktails including the Goombay Smash and Pain Killer.
The expansive venue includes outdoor seating, an al fresco gazebo bar, and semi-private spaces designed for intimate events and celebrations—each accommodating up to 74 guests. Late-night hours extend dining until 2:00 AM, with drinks flowing until 3:00 AM, ensuring a vibrant yet upscale scene throughout the evening.
Claudio’s new ventures in Greenport and The Bahamas are more than a seasonal refresh—they’re a sophisticated expansion of a heritage brand with roots that span over a century. With a focus on coastal cuisine, thoughtful design, and welcoming hospitality, the Claudio’s name continues to resonate with locals, travelers, and tastemakers alike—no matter the shoreline.
