SEASON IN PALM BEACH KICKED OFF WITH A FABULOUS FURNITURE PARTY

3,000 of Palm Beach's Top Influencers, High Society & Celebrities Attended Private Celebration of First-Of-Its-Kind Retail Experience

I've attended my fair share of store openings over the years, but this one tops them all!

A unique historical building was transformed into a multi-level furniture forum offering something for everyone.  After being put into festive spirits by the libation presentations on each floor of furniture, guests were rewarded with food at the rooftop restaurant.  While climbing to the top, it was fun spotting celebs like Matthew McConaughey and industry titans like Steve Ross along the way.  RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman was on hand to meet and greet his guests.

Friedman had this to say about their new masterpiece: "RH West Palm reflects our quest to revolutionize physical retailing, blurring the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality, seamlessly integrating food, wine, art and design."

Influencers from the worlds of design, fashion, art, philanthropy, entertainment, sports and business gathered to celebrate the unveiling of RH West Palm to kick off the Palm Beach social season. The event featured celebrity appearances by Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves, Greg Norman and his wife, supermodels Karolina Kurkova and Ines Rivero, and a DJ performance by Chris Malinchak of New York. Guests enjoyed gourmet bites by RH Café, fresh bellinis by Cipriani NYC, frosé garden, curated wines by Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley and Blackbird Vineyards, and a striking ice bar serving caviar paired with vodka martinis. The event benefitted The Norton Museum of Art.

The host committee was a who's who of Palm Beach including Georgina Bloomberg, Matthew Chevallard, Lourdes Fanjul, Jane Holzer, Celerie Kemble, Katherine Lande, Talbott Maxey, Mario Nievera, Greg & Kirsten Norman, Todd & Frances Peter, Caroline Cummings Rafferty & Nicholas Rafferty and Ariana Rockefeller.

The RH West Palm 80,000-square-foot, four level architectural wonder is an integration of food, wine, art, and design that reflects RH's mission to revolutionize physical retailing. This first-of-its-kind retail concept is a completely immersive experience from the moment a guest arrives to valet their car in front of a 14-foot wall of falling water while admiring a 70-foot-tall by 140-foot-wide striking mural installation by renowned contemporary artist RETNA, which canvases the entire eastern façade of the building with his ancient text-based imagery.

Customers can explore the 10,000 feet of private gardens featuring RH Outdoor's expansive collections and navigate three floors of interior installations showcasing RH Interiors, RH Modern, RH Baby & Child and RH TEEN.  On the fourth level, visitors can be wined and dined under a soaring glass atrium in the Rooftop Restaurant surrounded by the sound of trickling fountains.  Here there are also the Wine Vaults and Pantry & Barista Bar.
