A Star-Studded Opening Night with Jon Batiste & Friends

Friday night set the tone for the weekend as Jon Batiste & Friends took center stage with a 20-piece band, treating guests to an exuberant, immersive set that went far beyond a traditional performance. A master at blurring the lines between audience and stage, Batiste led his signature “Love Riot” parade through the crowd, creating a moment of intimacy between performer and spectator.

The night saw surprise appearances from JoJo, Lauren Daigle, Maxwell, and Matteo Bocelli, while Ibrahim Maalouf and Justin-Lee Schultz delivered standout sets. But it was the late-night jam session, lasting nearly two hours and featuring Batiste, Shania Twain, and Lauren Jauregui, that became the talk of the festival.

WILLOW, in her own right, stunned the audience with a set that was equal parts ethereal and high-voltage, proving yet again that her artistry is ever-evolving.
