Puttshack Champions Sensory Inclusion with National Fundraiser for KultureCity During Autism Acceptance Month
A Month of Purpose-Driven Play
This April, Puttshack is transforming playtime into a purposeful initiative. In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month, the tech-infused mini golf concept is launching a nationwide fundraiser in partnership with KultureCity, the Alabama-based nonprofit known for its pioneering work in accessibility and sensory inclusion. From April 1 to 30, 20% of every 9-hole game booked HERE will be donated directly to KultureCity’s mission—supporting individuals with sensory processing needs and invisible disabilities.
With one in four Americans experiencing a sensory processing need, the move underscores a larger truth: inclusive spaces aren’t optional—they’re essential.
A Tech-Infused Commitment to Accessibility
While Puttshack is known for its sleek mini golf courses powered by proprietary Trackaball™ technology, the company’s deeper mission lies in bringing “everyone in to play.” That philosophy is brought to life through its partnership with KultureCity, which has helped certify all 16 U.S. venues as Sensory Inclusive™ spaces.
Each certified location offers sensory bags equipped with tools like noise-reducing headphones and fidget items, designed to support guests of all ages who may benefit from added comfort and stimulation regulation. Courses are ADA-compliant, and each venue is thoughtfully featured on the KultureCity website, allowing visitors to preview available accommodations ahead of time—an added layer of transparency that enhances both comfort and confidence for guests.
“We welcome everyone in to play at Puttshack, and we are thrilled to continue to create inclusive spaces that are enjoyable for our guests with all abilities. It’s important that social entertainment spaces such as ours continue to evolve in accessibility so anyone can have fun, together.”
Susan Walmesley, Puttshack CMO/CO
Puttshack x KultureCity: A Shared Mission
The partnership between Puttshack and KultureCity is more than symbolic—it’s embedded into the brand’s core values. In 2023, Puttshack achieved its goal of certifying every new venue as Sensory Inclusive™ within six months of opening, a significant milestone reflecting a company-wide culture of empathy, innovation, and proactive care.
“Empowering communities through inclusion and innovation, Puttshack is aligned with the same visionary spirit as KultureCity and is championing a world where every individual, regardless of ability, is not just accepted but celebrated for their unique contributions to the tapestry of humanity."
Uma Srivastava, Executive Director of KultureCity
Accommodating Guest Experience for All
Accessibility at Puttshack extends well beyond accommodations. Its culinary offerings cater to a range of dietary needs, while its Trackaball™ scoring system eliminates the need for manual input—freeing up guests to focus on play and social interaction. Whether it’s a family outing, birthday celebration, or corporate team event, Puttshack offers a modern, inclusive take on group entertainment that is both elevated and effortless.
At locations like Brickell City Centre in Miami—a hub for retail, dining, and cultural activity—Puttshack is seamlessly integrated into the lifestyle fabric of the neighborhood, reinforcing its role as more than a mini golf venue, but a space for community and connection.
How to Support
To contribute to the campaign, guests must book their 9-hole round through www.puttshack.com/kcfundraiser between April 1–30. 20% of every qualifying game will go directly to KultureCity, helping fund sensory inclusion training, resources, and initiatives across the country.
