Born in Paris in 1972 by sibling duo Maguy and Gilbert Le Coze, Le Bernardin only served fish: Fresh, simple and prepared with respect. After receiving its first Michelin star in 1976, and two more in 1980, the Le Coze's set to open Le Bernardin in New York in 1986. Le Bernardin has received more James Beard Awards than any other restaurant in New York City. In 1998, Maguy Le Coze won the coveted James Beard Award for "Outstanding Restaurant" in America, and in May 2003, the James Beard Foundation named Eric Ripert "Outstanding Chef." In 2009, Le Bernardin was honored with the James Beard Award for "Outstanding Wine Service." The Michelin Guide, which made its New York debut in 2005, honored Chef Ripert and Le Bernardin with its highest rating of three stars in 2005 and each year thereafter, and the restaurant ranks 26 on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list. Most recently for 2019, Le Bernardin was ranked No. 1 in the World by La Liste, the global food guide and review aggregator.

The Swedish fine-dining restaurant opened in Midtown Manhattan in 1986, and to this day it remains unlike any other dining establishment in the city. Rezdôra is a New York Times three-star restaurant and a 2020 Michelin Star recipient from Chef Stefano Secchi and Partner David Switzer in New York City's Flatiron neighborhood. The menu celebrates the cuisine of Emilia Romagna and is centered around house-made pasta, a nod to the restaurant's name which translates to "head of household"-usually a nonna who hand rolls pasta. Traditionally prepared meat, fish, local vegetables, and Northern Italian wines complement the offerings.

Gem is a restaurant by Flynn McGarry located on the lower east side. Their menu changes three times a year pertaining to the season. Currently, we are serving our East Coast Flora Menu at Gem. The new season is intended to showcase the frequent and varied changes in our microclimate throughout these special months.

Soothr, properly pronounced "Sood" is the Thai word meaning "Recipe". This East Village establishment is the vision of close friends who grew up in different regions of Thailand, hoping to share their experiences and recipes with the rest of the world.

Estela

P.J. Clarkes on the Hudson

Best known for serving delicious comfort food in hearty portions. Their mouthwatering burgers are nothing short of heavenly.They also have a great raw bar with generous oyster, lobster, fish and shrimp plates. Zagat spotlighted their excellent lobster rolls in an article from 2014. Another one of their stellar menu items is the Maryland jumbo lump crab cake served with a side of tartar sauce and also a side of coleslaw. P.J. Keens Steakhouse owns the largest collection of churchwarden pipes in the world. The tradition of checking one's pipe at the inn had its origins in 17th century Merrie Old England where travelers kept their clay at their favorite inn – the thin stemmed pipe being too fragile to be carried in purse or saddlebag. Pipe smoking was known since Elizabethan times to be beneficial for dissipating "evil homourse of the brain." Keens's pipe tradition began in the early 20th century.
