What do you get when the most innovative minds in architecture, development and design come together? An unparalleled residential and commercial space known as The XI. HFZ Capital Group, a leading Manhattan based real estate development group, announced that both towers which comprise the XI, or the eleventh, have topped out – and they want to take you to the top with them!

From residential apartments to a hotel, club and spa, the XI is an awe-inspiring architectural masterpiece realized through an extraordinary collaboration between the world's most visionary minds including BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group, Gabellini Sheppard Associates, Gilles & Boissier and Enzo Enea. This will also be the first US destination for Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas.

For the topping off preview, Bjarke Ingles of BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group, as well as Ziel Feldman, Chairman and Founder of HFZ Capital Group, and Neil Jacobs, CEO of Six Senses, introduced their property. Howard Lorber, Chairman of Douglas Elliman, and Fredrik Eklund of Million Dollar Listing were also at the preview, while cocktails were provided by Six Senses.

"The XI topping out is an incredible achievement of dynamic technology and visionary engineering. We are giving the world a truly unique development that features an impressive array of residential, recreational, culture, and wellness experiences that have never been available in one location," said Ziel Feldman, Chairman and Founder of HFZ Capital Group.

Bjarke Ingels, founding Partner of BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group, explained that "the two towers transform and adapt to their surroundings and each other as they rise from the ground, reorienting themselves to respond to the High Line, the Hudson River and the surrounding arts district. With its punched windows and gridded structural facade, The XI echoes pragmatic rationality of the neighborhood's historic warehouses, while its sculptural geometry gives it a kinship to the local arts community. The past and present of Chelsea mereges in a new hybrid identity.

The sky is the limit when you're literally in the sky! Rising above the Hudson River and High Line and taking up one square block between 17thand 18thStreets and 10thand 11thAvenues, The XI, comprised of two towers clad in travertine, are the tallest buildings in West Chelsea. The unique twisting design of the two buildings means that there will be incredible Hudson River and city views from all residences. Each residence will also offer stylish and unique layouts.

The XI is a mixed-use residential and commercial development which offers 236 luxury condominium residences, and is also the first US destination by Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, voted the World's #1 Hotel Brand by Travel + Leisurein 2017 and 2018. The development also includes a newly-created public promenade developed by HFZ in collaboration with Friends of The High Line, the first ever street-level extension of the iconic park. The East Tower, known as No. X, stands 300 feet tall and topped out this month, while the West Tower, known as No. I, stands 400 feet tall and topped out last fall.

This new landmark building was inspired by the Modernist structures of Manhattan and is indeed going to be one of the most unique properties in the city, and even the world.  The XI will be the latest project on "Architecture Row" alongside other architecturally iconic buildings on the Hudson River.  From a private entrance with a port-cochere and courtyard designed with Swiss landscape architect Enzo Enea, as well as interiors designed by Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier, the residences will definitely offer the luxe life. The East Tower, No. X, will feature 87 luxury condominium homes for those seeking a high lifestyle high in the sky.

The West Tower, No. I, will be comprised of 149 condominiums designed by Gabellini Sheppard Associates, an award-winning firm. A 23-foot lobby featuring lounges, a fireplace and rich materials including travertine and stone will welcome residents home in style. The West Tower residential offering includes simplexes and duplexes with sweeping views of the Hudson River, as well as penthouses up to the 36thfloor.

Arising from Six Senses mind, body and beyond philosophy, residents at The XI will enjoy 60,000 square feet of amenities, including a private 18,000 square foot club designed by Gabellini Sheppard. Curated and managed by Six Senses New York, The XI Club offers access to the best in wellness, nutrition, fitness, lifestyle, and spa services. With a stunning 75-foot glass-enclosed sunlit swimming pool accompanied by a hot tub and poolside cabana, as well as steam rooms, saunas, cold plunges, treatment room and studios for personalized signature massages and wellness programming, you'll never want to leave home. There is even an entertaining space which is highlighted by a double-height bridge and library bar with retractable screen for viewing and entertaining, plus social lounge spaces, a formal dining and wine tasting room with storage lockers, and a teen's lounge and children's playroom.

Located in the East tower, No X, Six Senses New York features 137 guest rooms and suites designed by Gilles & Boissier. The company is known for restoring and preserving historic buildings as well as building new developments in collaboration with renowned architects and designers.  Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is exclusively handling the sales and marketing for The XI which will officially be open next year, so you'll be able to experience anything and everything you want – top that!
