July 10th, 2025 — As Monterey Car Week accelerates into its 2025 edition, one event remains firmly in pole position: Motorlux, returning Wednesday, August 13 with a high-octane blend of collector cars, rare wines, aviation luxe, and gourmet artistry. Known for setting the tone of the week’s festivities, Motorlux continues to evolve into more than a celebration of machines—it’s a curated immersion into heritage, innovation, and lifestyle.
Held at the Monterey Jet Center, this year’s Motorlux offers elevated hospitality shaped by bespoke experiences, thematic automotive displays, and early access to the prestigious Broad Arrow Monterey Jet Center Auction, a must-attend for serious collectors.
“Welcoming Motorlux guests means constantly raising the bar on entertainment and hospitality. We can’t wait to host thousands of luxury and automotive enthusiasts as they reunite with longtime friends and Monterey Car Week kicks off at Motorlux.”

Curated Vehicle Showcases: A Tribute to Icons and Speed
The 2025 edition of Motorlux features four carefully curated automotive installations, each paired with culinary and drink elements that nod to their heritage and aesthetic. These themed exhibits aren’t just about rare metal—they reflect the storytelling at the heart of car culture:
From Stuttgart with Love: A celebration of Porsche’s legacy, spanning generations of design and performance excellence.
America’s Wild Horse – 60 Years of Ford Mustang: Honoring six decades of the quintessential American muscle car, this display brings together the most celebrated models from each era.
200 MPH Club: An homage to speed and engineering ingenuity, featuring production vehicles capable of breaking the 200 mph barrier—from '80s powerhouses to contemporary hypercars.
The Mercedes Maestro – Icons Designed by the Late Bruno Sacco: A rare tribute to Bruno Sacco, the visionary Mercedes-Benz designer whose work defined an era. This collection highlights some of the most influential vehicles shaped under his direction.
Each exhibit is more than a static showcase. Motorlux complements the displays with food and beverage pairings selected to match the spirit of the marque—melding culinary creativity with automotive legacy.
Star Power on the Auction Block
In tandem with Motorlux, Broad Arrow Auctions returns to the Jet Center for its flagship two-day sale, taking place August 13–14. The first 40 lots will be presented on opening night as part of the Motorlux experience, offering early access to some of the week’s most coveted vehicles.
Leading the highlights is the 1962 Shelby 260 Cobra CSX 2003, a factory prototype that helped define the Shelby brand. Coming from 36 years of private ownership, it is estimated at $1.5 to $2 million—a rare chance to own a cornerstone of American performance history.
Also crossing the block is a 1991 Ferrari F40, known for its raw purity and low mileage, with an estimate of $3.4 to $3.7 million. For those drawn to modern hypercars, a 2018 Bugatti Chiron featuring a full exposed carbon fiber exterior and premium specification will be offered at $3.0 to $3.5 million.
With an expertly selected roster of approximately 150 collector cars, Broad Arrow continues to deliver one of the most compelling auctions on the global calendar.
Michelin-Starred Flavors and California’s Finest Wines
Elevating the event’s hospitality element is a trio of Michelin-starred chefs, each crafting exclusive dishes that reflect California’s agricultural richness and culinary range. These culinary talents are joined by over 40 of the region’s top wine producers, offering a tasting journey that mirrors the artistry on display beneath the hangar lights.
This integration of food, wine, and engineering isn’t just for show—it represents Motorlux’s core mission: to create immersive experiences that speak to all senses, and to elevate the conversation around car culture through hospitality and design.
Supporting Community Through Philanthropy
Beyond the luxury and spectacle, Motorlux continues its commitment to giving back. Proceeds support the CHP 11-99 Foundation, aiding California Highway Patrol families in crisis, as well as the Navy Postgraduate School Foundation, whose car club members volunteer on site and assist with the auction. These partnerships highlight the event’s deeper values, reinforcing its role as a cultural—and philanthropic—touchpoint.
Experience Motorlux 2025
Motorlux remains the definitive curtain-raiser to Monterey Car Week, not only because of its collector cars or auction block headlines, but because it invites guests to step inside a world where craftsmanship, storytelling, and community intersect.
