June 3rd, 2025 – Miami’s fast-evolving Brickell neighborhood has a new destination—one that swaps sand traps for steak tacos, and traditional golf attire for sharp tailoring and Negronis. The Tips Golf, a high-end indoor golf studio, officially opens this summer at 115 SW 8th Street, introducing a refined social and athletic space where world-class swing analysis meets expertly mixed drinks, plush interiors, and a hospitality-first philosophy.
Spread across two stories and 3,600 square feet inside the AC Hotel Miami Brickell, The Tips aims to redefine what golf culture looks like in Miami. The experience caters not only to seasoned players but also to casual enthusiasts seeking a polished space to unwind, play, and connect.
“I created The Tips for fellow golfers who value both performance and atmosphere. Whether you’re taking a lesson, practicing on your own, or teeing it up with friends over drinks, our goal is to deliver a premium experience driven by genuine hospitality in every aspect.”Alejandro Piekarewicz, Founder and CEO of The Tips Golf, and Former Wall Street Executive and Avid Golfer
Designed by Stalemate Creative, the interiors at The Tips strike a careful balance between sleek and soulful. Natural textures and earthy tones frame the five simulator bays, full-service bar, and intimate lounge seating. Details like caramel leather armchairs, warm wood paneling, and polished marble surfaces create a quietly luxurious atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light during the day and glittering skyline views by night.
Each simulator bay—powered by Trackman iO, the industry gold standard in swing analytics—comfortably fits four to five seated guests, with additional room for spectators. A central 10-seat bar anchors the space, inviting patrons to linger between rounds.
Behind the scenes, General Manager and Certified Sommelier Brian Carpinello leads a beverage program that complements the elevated atmosphere with a curated mix of classics and original cocktails, including the aptly named “Caribbean Transfusion.” Premium wines and a strong craft beer selection round out the offering, ideal for pairing with the food menu’s bold takes on clubhouse staples.
On the culinary side, the studio serves refined comfort dishes meant for sharing—steak tacos with chimichurri, Colossal Shrimp Cocktail, BBQ Chicken Flatbreads, and sweet flourishes like the sugared donut “Bucket of Balls.” The goal? Create a menu that pairs seamlessly with play, without compromising on flavor or quality.
At its core, The Tips is about elevating your game. Golfers can book one-on-one instruction with Director of Instruction Landon Michelson, a decorated Miami native and former professional golfer. His coaching philosophy blends swing mechanics, course management, and mindset—delivered through the lens of Trackman’s precision data.
Whether you’re fine-tuning your short game or learning how to read ball flight patterns, Michelson’s guidance ensures the experience is as technically rigorous as it is welcoming.
In addition to everyday play, The Tips is primed for private events and corporate gatherings, offering customizable group packages for everything from birthday celebrations to team offsites. With seamless planning support and a turnkey setup, the venue is positioned as a new go-to for experiential hosting in Brickell.
By fusing cutting-edge golf technology with design-forward hospitality, The Tips fills a noticeable gap in the Miami lifestyle space. It’s not just a place to practice—it’s a destination to belong.
