Tkid170’s "Living Wild Style" Exhibition Brings Graffiti Royalty to Miami

The Museum of Graffiti Celebrates the Bronx Icon Who Took Urban Art Global

Miami’s art scene is about to get even more electrifying as the Museum of Graffiti presents Tkid170 – Living Wild Style, a retrospective honoring Bronx-born graffiti pioneer Julius Cavero, better known as Tkid170. Launching on April 5, 2025, this highly anticipated exhibition pays homage to a legend whose impact on street art has transcended generations and continents.

From Subway Cars to Global Galleries: The Evolution of Tkid170

Tkid170’s name is cemented in graffiti history. His signature wild style lettering—characterized by intricate, interwoven designs—helped define the movement that erupted from New York’s subway system in the 1970s. Over the decades, his bold compositions and fearless color choices have shaped urban art’s global identity, influencing artists from the Bronx to Berlin.

“I’m excited to bring my work to the Museum of Graffiti and share the energy that’s defined my journey from the subway yards of the Bronx to galleries around the world. This exhibition is a chance for me to show how wild style and graffiti culture continue to evolve, and I hope it inspires others to take risks and celebrate their own creative spirit.”

“Tkid170 didn’t just make his mark in the Bronx—he forever changed the style and trajectory of graffiti as a result of his early travels to Europe where he mentored young artists. His legacy is a living testament to the power of unbridled self-expression, and we’re thrilled to invite Miami to experience his inventive and ever-evolving style firsthand.”
