Artexpo New York 2025 Returns with Cutting-Edge Programming, Celebrating 48 Years of Global Artistic Innovation
Pier 36 to Host the World’s Original Fine Art Fair This April with an Expansive Roster of Artists, Events, and New Initiatives
Now entering its 48th year, Artexpo New York stands as a hallmark of the international art calendar. Set to unfold April 3–6, 2025 at Pier 36 in Lower Manhattan, the four-day fair once again draws the gaze of the global art world with its meticulously curated programming and impressive scale—more than 1,000 artists, 200+ exhibitors, and 70,000 square feet of art, installations, and live experiences. Hosted by Redwood Art Group, a leader in global art event production, Artexpo 2025 continues to blend commerce, curation, and community in a way that is as commercially powerful as it is artistically daring.
The Pulse of the Fair: Key Programming and Curated Experiences
Beyond the dazzling display of original works—from glass sculptures and ceramics to mixed media and photography—the fair's strength lies in its ability to evolve. Artexpo New York 2025 reflects not only what is current, but what’s next, offering an inside look at the creative forces shaping contemporary art on a global scale.
Spotlight Program: A Curated Cross-Section of Emerging Excellence
Launched in 2016, the Spotlight Program is among Artexpo’s most anticipated features, spotlighting a select group of exceptional artists chosen by the Redwood Art Group selection committee.
The 2025 recipients include:
Bill Hao (Booth 601)
Haydn Lewis (Booth S314)
Neelam Padte (Booth S300)
Ariel Rodriquez (Booth S607)
Pamela Galleguillos (Booth 312)
Mriya Gallery (Booth 607)
These Spotlight recipients represent a range of disciplines and voices, providing an intimate look at the avant-garde movements gaining momentum on the global stage.
Art Labs: Where Innovation Takes Center Stage
This year’s Art Labs offer a compelling mix of large-scale installations, collective exhibitions, and interactive environments. Highlights include:
“Jason Perez Art Collective” (Mezzanine Lounge):
A convergence of outsider, pop, urban, and street art, complete with live painting demonstrations and meet-the-artist sessions.
“Celebrating 30 Years at Artexpo New York” (Sammoun Fine Art, Booth 215):
A retrospective and continuation of Samir Sammoun’s three-decade relationship with the fair.
“A Second Look” (K-Art Projects USA, Booth 109):
Featuring Carola Orieta Sperman and Alejandro Rauhut, whose work spans repurposed environmental sculpture and introspective digital installations.
Each Art Lab is carefully designed not just to exhibit, but to invite reflection and conversation—hallmarks of Artexpo’s curatorial ethos.
Meet the Artists & Live Demonstrations: Intimate Access to Creative Minds
A defining element of the fair is its accessibility. Attendees can engage directly with artists through live demonstrations and interactive Q&As, a rarity in fairs of this scale.
Notable participants include:
Sarah Stieber (Booth S114)
Samir Sammoun (Booth 215)
AvRaam Cohen (Booth S608)
Micha Kuechenhoff & Grant Rosen of ArtNWordz (Booth 300)
Carola Orieta Sperman (Booth 109)
These sessions offer a rare glimpse into technique, inspiration, and process—an experience often reserved for studio visits or private salons.
Two New Additions Set a Bold Tone for 2025
This year’s edition introduces two major initiatives designed to propel creative voices onto a global platform.
The Redwood Art Prize
With over $20,000 in awards, the inaugural Redwood Art Prize embraces the theme of “Boundless”, encouraging artists to push past limitations of medium and genre.
The four winning works, selected for their daring originality and technical finesse, include:
“Blue Jean Eyes” by Bret Neathery
“Edge of Glory” by Gavin Hein
“Terraced Sunset” by Linda Washburn Roberts
“Howling Under a Burning Sky” by Rhea Diehl
Winners are granted not only recognition, but meaningful career acceleration through international exposure and access to Redwood’s vast collector network.
Artexpo New York Digital Photo Contest
Also debuting this year is the Digital Photo Contest, awarding over $30,000 in prizes. Centered around the theme “Blink”, this contest celebrates the instantaneous nature of photography as an art form. Finalist works are displayed throughout the fair on digital installations, with attendees voting live via kiosks in the Café. Categories span Landscape, Architecture, Travel, Nature, Street, Wildlife, People, and one Best of Show winner will be announced post-event.
The Discoveries Collection: Fine Art, Accessibly Priced
Curated by Artexpo’s internal team, the Discoveries Collection offers a more accessible entry point for collectors looking to acquire rising talent. Each piece in this special designation is priced at $1,000 to $3,000 or less, a rarity in a fair of this magnitude and provenance.
