Taste of the Gardens Returns to Pembroke Pines with Food, Philanthropy, and Community Spirit
April 15th, 2025 – At a time when community engagement feels more essential than ever, Pembroke Gardens is bringing back one of its most cherished traditions: Taste of the Gardens. Scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, from 6 to 8 p.m., this much-loved event invites guests to gather for an evening of gourmet bites, live music, and heartfelt giving—all in support of nonprofits doing vital work in the Pembroke Pines and Miramar communities.
More than just a tasting event, Taste of the Gardens has long been a philanthropic fixture. Over the past decade, it has raised over $89,660 for local causes. This year’s event continues that legacy, with proceeds benefiting Pooches in Pines, Children’s Harbor, the Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society, and the Kiwanis Club of Miramar/Pembroke Pines—organizations making tangible impacts in areas ranging from animal rescue to youth development.
A Culinary Stroll with Purpose
The event’s format is simple and satisfying: guests enjoy samples from over a dozen participating restaurants while mingling with neighbors and supporting a shared cause. The 2025 culinary lineup includes returning crowd-pleasers like Agave Bandido, The Brass Tap, RA Sushi, Brio Italian Grille, and LIME Fresh Mexican Grill, alongside sweet and savory options from Misha’s Cupcakes, Sirocco Mediterranean Cuisine, Gelosia, and more.
Guests will also have the chance to win a $100 gift card to the restaurant of their choice—adding an element of excitement to an evening already designed for indulgence and connection.
Following the main event, the celebration continues at Agave Bandido, which will host the official afterparty. Expect surprise food specials, signature cocktails, and a live mariachi band setting the tone for an extended evening of celebration.
Supporting the Community, One Bite at a Time
For those familiar with Taste of the Gardens, it’s not just the food or the music that keeps them coming back—it's the deeper purpose behind the event.
“Taste of the Gardens is more than just a celebration of food; it’s a celebration of our community’s strength and generosity.”
Annette Alvarez, Property Manager at Pembroke Gardens
That sentiment is echoed by Patty Archer, President of the Miramar Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce, which co-hosts the event each year.
“Taste of the Gardens represents a meaningful tradition of giving back, supporting organizations that provide essential services to families and children in need. We are honored to continue partnering with Pembroke Gardens in this event that showcases the local culinary scene and celebrates those who do so much for the children and families of Miramar and Pembroke Pines.”

A Tradition Rooted in Generosity
As a result of the community’s continued support, Taste of the Gardens has become more than just an annual event—it’s a reflection of the region’s collective values. The combination of local business support, culinary creativity, and philanthropic intent underscores the powerful ways in which food can bring people together—and move them to action.
Given its history of selling out, guests are encouraged to reserve tickets early to secure their spot at one of the season’s most meaningful events. For those looking to enjoy a delicious evening while supporting causes close to home, this is one gathering that serves more than just great food—it delivers purpose, plate by plate.
