Lila Nikole Marks 15 Years of Fearless Fashion with “Quince” Collection at Miami Swim Week

The luxury swimwear designer celebrates her brand’s bold evolution with Caribbean-infused prints and a weeklong series of star-studded events across Miami

As the sun sets on the Miami skyline this June 1, the Mondrian South Beach will be more than just a backdrop—it will be the beating heart of a fashion milestone. Celebrating fifteen trailblazing years in the industry, Lila Nikole Rivera is set to debut her Summer 2025 “Quince” Collection during Miami Swim Week – The Shows, bringing her signature fusion of vibrant culture, custom fabrication, and unapologetic creativity to the runway.

Named in homage to the Latin American tradition of a fifteenth birthday celebration, Quince is more than a name—it’s a narrative. A reflection of Rivera’s growth as a designer and the brand’s evolution into a globally recognized name in luxury swimwear. The 26-look collection will command the runway at 7:00 p.m., marking a crescendo in a weeklong celebration of color, culture, and community.

A Celebration of Heritage and Individuality

With prints as bold as the designer behind them, Quince draws on Rivera’s Caribbean roots and her deep ties to Carnival aesthetics. Florals meet geometrics in electric shades of hot pink, yellow, aqua, and more—anchored by her unmistakable flair for color theory and textile art. Designed for confident wearers who embrace attention, the collection includes bikinis, one-pieces, sheer cover-ups, and fringe skirts, that blur the lines between beachwear and nightlife statement wear.

Far from cookie-cutter, every piece in the Quince lineup is created using custom-designed prints and produced in limited runs. Rivera’s in-house, small-batch approach has long been her signature—prioritizing quality control, design integrity, and a commitment to originality. The brand's swimwear isn’t just worn; it’s lived in—from yacht decks to evening lounges.

Inclusive Design, Inside and Out

In a nod to fashion’s future, Rivera’s Summer 2025 debut emphasizes inclusivity across the board. Expanding her scope beyond women’s swimwear, she introduces men’s and gender-fluid designs that transition seamlessly from day to night. The collection also incorporates shapewear-inspired engineering—most notably in the high-waisted bottoms and one-pieces crafted with her proprietary power mesh fabric, which sculpts while maintaining comfort and confidence.

Event Line-Up

While Sunday’s runway marks the crown jewel of the celebration, Rivera’s Quince festivities begin well before the spotlight hits. The following day, the Lupo Yacht Club will host an invite-only pampering and gifting suite aboard a luxury yacht, featuring live sets by DJ Cool Blaze and DJ Dinero.

On Thursday, May 29th, select tastemakers will enjoy a sensory-driven dinner at Casa Matilda Steakhouse in Miami Beach, featuring an immersive Hennessy cocktail mixing class. Friday, May 30th, turns up the volume with the Lila Nikole SKiN Show at R House Wynwood—a high-energy fusion of fashion and drag performance, underscoring the brand’s Miami roots and celebration of self-expression.

Come Sunday, the final day of events begins with an ultra-exclusive VIP Suite Experience at the Mondrian South Beach, where Casamigos Tequila will curate a private bar and specialty cocktails ahead of the runway showcase.

A Legacy Woven in Culture

Lila Nikole Rivera’s work is a visual diary of her culture, her ambition, and her refusal to compromise. As the first Latina costume designer to lead the Emmy-nominated Super Bowl LV Halftime Show, Rivera’s influence extends far beyond swimwear. Her designs have graced global icons including Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, Gigi Hadid, and Emily Ratajkowski.

What sets Rivera apart isn’t just her resume—it’s her relentless authenticity. Every piece is a tribute to those who dare to be seen, those who take up space unapologetically, and those who live their lives in full color.
