When Watchmaking Meets Web3 Storytelling

In a collaboration that bridges centuries of tradition with the immediacy of digital culture, Swiss watchmaker H. Moser & Cie. has joined forces with Azuki, the web3 anime brand known for its streetwear-infused aesthetics and community-driven storytelling. The result is Elements of Time, a capsule collection of luxury timepieces inspired by the Azuki Elementals NFT series, translating the brand’s illustrated universe into mechanical artistry.

Azuki’s influence has redefined the idea of digital identity, blending anime, fashion, and blockchain innovation into a cultural movement. H. Moser & Cie., with roots dating back to 1828, approaches watchmaking with a philosophy that distills timekeeping to its essence while occasionally subverting convention with subtle irony. Together, they explore how physical craftsmanship can interpret and amplify decentralized creativity.

Four Elements, Eight Timepieces

The Elements of Time series is anchored by four Pioneer Tourbillons—each embodying Fire, Earth, Water, or Lightning—and four Pioneer Centre Seconds references, each limited to 24 pieces. The dials feature unique guilloché engraving patterns that evoke the textures of their respective elements: the ripple of waves, the flicker of flames, the shifting ground, and the crackle of electricity. Sculpted to catch and play with light, these surfaces echo the precision and depth of Azuki’s illustrated world while reflecting H. Moser & Cie.’s mastery of detail.

“The Azuki community was born around our shared values of storytelling, creativity and quality. Working with H. Moser & Cie. is an opportunity to express this ethos through a new lens, one that celebrates craftsmanship, culture and long-term value.”

Alex “Zagabond” Xu, CEO of Azuki Labs

“We’re always looking to push creative boundaries in ways that still reflect who we are as a brand. Collaborating with Azuki is a chance to explore a way of storytelling that speaks to a generation that values individuality, creativity, and culture.”

Collectors’ Access and Global Delivery

Priced at USD 25,000 for the Pioneer Centre Seconds and USD 75,000 for the Pioneer Tourbillons, the watches are positioned for a collector base that values both exclusivity and narrative resonance. Quantities are intentionally limited, and early registration for interest is encouraged through h-moser.azuki.com.

The 1916 Company, a leading destination for collectible watches and fine jewelry, played a central role in bringing the collaboration to market. The retailer will host in-person delivery events at its showrooms and lounges worldwide, reinforcing the blend of high-touch service and global community that defines both brands’ appeal.

Bridging Craft and Culture

This partnership underscores a shift in the luxury landscape, where heritage brands are embracing cross-disciplinary collaborations that speak to digitally native audiences. For H. Moser & Cie., it’s an exploration of how Swiss watchmaking can engage with a generation attuned to the aesthetics and values of web3 culture. For Azuki, it’s a tangible extension of a digital world, rendered with the permanence and artistry of haute horlogerie.

Collectors now have the opportunity to own a piece that exists at the intersection of mechanical precision, cultural storytelling, and limited-edition artistry—a convergence that is becoming increasingly rare in the world of luxury timepieces.
