Chef Thomas Keller Debuts The Garden at Bouchon Coral Gables: A New Era of Outdoor Dining

Exclusive Events with Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and Neiman Marcus Mark the Grand Opening

A new chapter in fine dining is unfolding in Coral Gables as Chef Thomas Keller unveils The Garden at Bouchon, an elegant outdoor dining expansion that seamlessly blends classic French cuisine with the lush beauty of South Florida’s natural landscape. Located within the historic La Palma Courtyard, The Garden at Bouchon provides a refined yet relaxed setting for alfresco dining, exclusive events, and intimate receptions.

To commemorate the grand opening on March 13, 2025, Bouchon will host two exclusive events in collaboration with Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and Neiman Marcus, two cultural pillars of Coral Gables.

A Culinary Partnership with Conservation in Mind

In a landmark collaboration, Bouchon joins forces with Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s Million Orchid Project, an initiative dedicated to restoring native orchids throughout South Florida. As a tribute to this mission, The Garden at Bouchon will feature orchids delicately woven into its trees, celebrating the beauty of nature while supporting conservation efforts.

The Garden at Bouchon is a masterpiece of landscape architecture, designed by Michael H. Foster to honor both the French bistro aesthetic and the lush surroundings of Coral Gables. Carefully selected flora—including Lignum Vitae, Calamondin, and Flaming Glorybower—adds a rich tapestry of color and texture, while custom copper details and steel trellises elevate the ambiance. A private dining entrance, framed by purple-flowering Brunfelsia, Florida Thatch Palms, and Marlberry, welcomes guests into an intimate oasis of refined dining.

Set within the La Palma building, a Coral Gables landmark dating back to 1924, The Garden at Bouchon continues the tradition of timeless sophistication. Whether savoring a croque madame, indulging in a selection of fruits de mer, or toasting with a glass of fine French wine, guests can now immerse themselves in Chef Keller’s world-class cuisine under the canopy of The Garden.

For those seeking a seasonal, open-air dining experience that celebrates exceptional French fare and the essence of Coral Gables, The Garden at Bouchon is an invitation to indulge.
