Kura Sushi USA is elevating the conveyor belt dining experience with the national debut of Kura Reserve, a newly curated series of limited-time seasonal menus spotlighting the pinnacle of Japanese ingredients. Designed for discerning palates, the platform launched on April 11 across participating Kura Revolving Sushi Bar locations with a refined, two-week showcase featuring bluefin tuna and Kumamoto wagyu—two of Japan’s most coveted delicacies.

Crafted by Kura’s expert culinary development team, Kura Reserve introduces eight exclusive menus per year, each thoughtfully designed around peak seasonal ingredients. Running through April 24, the inaugural menu reflects the richness and versatility of bluefin tuna, celebrated across multiple cuts and expressions. Diners can explore the full spectrum of the prized fish through options like Otoro, the decadent belly with high marbling; Chutoro, a mid-cut prized for its balance of texture and flavor; and Akami, a leaner, deep red cut offering purity and elegance.

A signature offering, the Bluefin Tuna Trio, presents all three cuts on a single plate—a tasting flight that bridges tradition and innovation. Additional creations include Wasabi Bluefin Tuna Akami and Bluefin Tuna Norimaki, layered with thoughtful flavor and artistic presentation.

Balancing the menu’s maritime richness is Kumamoto Wagyu, sourced directly from Japan’s famed Kumamoto Prefecture. The dish is delicately seared, finished with crispy garlic chips, and served in a format that highlights the beef’s intricate marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

To close, Kura adds a playful nod to spring’s sweetness with a Strawberry Cheesecake Parfait—a layered dessert of frozen strawberries, jam, vanilla ice cream, and New York-style cheesecake.
