A Taste of the Coast, Brewed in Collaboration

August 7th, 2025 – There’s something inherently local about a good craft beer—and now, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is bottling that spirit with the launch of its own signature beer line. In a dynamic collaboration with Props Craft Brewery and regional distributor Lewis Bear Company, the resort has introduced a trio of custom brews that are already making their rounds across Sandestin’s acclaimed restaurants, rooftops, and beach bars.

Set against the backdrop of the Emerald Coast’s sun-soaked charm, the new release includes a crisp Lager, a smooth Blonde Ale, and a bold India Pale Ale—each crafted to reflect the laid-back sophistication of Sandestin’s beach-to-bay lifestyle.

These aren’t just beers; they’re an extension of the resort’s culinary philosophy. Brewed by Props’ team of former Air Force pilots turned expert brewers, each beer was designed with intention and balance, blending approachability with just enough edge to stand apart in Florida’s crowded craft beer landscape.

Sandestin Beer Festival 2025: A Landmark Launch

The official debut will take place during the Sandestin Beer Festival, happening October 9–12, 2025—an immersive, beer-forward celebration designed to highlight not just the brews but the culture they represent. The weekend promises large-scale activations throughout the property, including inflatable beer cans, beer-basted BBQ, football watch parties, beer stein-holding competitions, and a massive group toast projected over the Baytowne Wharf loudspeakers.

The kickoff event, a Beer Dinner at Burnt Pine Country Club on October 9, sets the tone for the weekend with a multi-course pairing menu curated around the new brews, capped by a “meet the brewer” moment with the Props team. This opening night offers an intimate introduction to Sandestin’s broader beverage ambitions and is expected to become one of the most talked-about culinary events of the fall.

Where to Sip It Now

The new Sandestin brews are already on tap at key locations across the resort, including: Marina Bar & Grill, The Lobby Bar, Ara Rooftop Pool & Lounge, Ovide, Fat Tuesday, Burnt Pine Country Club, The Beach Club and Sandestin Golf beverage carts at The Links, Baytowne, and Raven courses

Each pour delivers more than refreshment—it’s a nod to the resort’s evolving food and beverage program. According to Vasil Penchev, Executive Director of Food and Beverage, the collaboration with Props is a way to “raise the bar” on what guests can expect across dining experiences at Sandestin.

Locally Crafted, Globally Inspired

“This launch is personal. We’re growing as a brand, yes—but our heart is here. Working with regional makers like Props allows us to create something meaningful, something that reflects who we are as a destination. These beers are not just beverages; they’re a celebration of our roots and the guests who return year after year.”

Melissa Watson, Executive Director of Marketing & Communications at Sandestin Investments

In addition to on-site dining, custom beer-centric group experiences and event packages are now available. With 85,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, the resort is uniquely positioned to host elevated corporate retreats, wedding weekends, and private events with bespoke beverage activations tailored to each occasion.

As the #1 resort on Florida’s Emerald Coast, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort continues to shape the region’s hospitality and lifestyle scene. From its luxury accommodations at Hotel Effie Sandestin to its 20 swimming pools, championship golf, and marina access, the resort has long been known for its breadth of amenities. Now, with its first in-house beer line, it’s adding a new layer of taste and terroir to the guest experience.

For travelers heading to the Sandestin Beer Festival 2025, the message is clear: come thirsty. These beers are more than a seasonal highlight—they’re a statement. Locally brewed, intentionally crafted, and ready to pour across a property that continues to define what it means to drink well by the water.
