In an audacious fusion of high-end hospitality and major-league spectacle, The Ra Ra Room has officially opened its doors beneath the PHX Arena in Phoenix. The brainchild of Phoenix Suns and Mercury owner Mat Ishbia in collaboration with hospitality heavyweights Major Food Group (MFG), this first-of-its-kind private dining club brings a new definition of luxury to the sports and entertainment landscape.

With a $20 million investment from Ishbia’s Player 15 Group, The Ra Ra Room is more than a premium experience—it’s a bold statement: Phoenix is ready to play on a global stage not just in basketball, but in culinary sophistication.

A Speakeasy Meets a Statement Piece

Located on the event level of the PHX Arena, The Ra Ra Room feels more like a secret supper club than a restaurant in a major sports venue. Designed by Gensler in collaboration with MFG’s in-house team, the space leans into a moody Art Deco aesthetic, complete with luxe finishes, dramatic lighting, and layered textures that nod to the elegance of New York’s golden age lounges.

Every touchpoint—from the lavish pantry of gourmet snacks to the on-demand concierge service—has been meticulously curated to appeal to those who seek more than just a seat at the game. It’s a membership that grants access to refinement, discretion, and the culinary cachet that MFG is famous for.

Where Hospitality Legends Meet Courtside Culture

Major Food Group’s involvement elevates the offering far beyond typical arena fare. Guests will find signature dishes from its legendary restaurants—Carbone’s cult-favorite Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, the Caesar alla ZZ, and more—on a menu that pays homage to the group’s celebrated portfolio. Known for redefining hospitality with hits like ZZ’s Club, Sadelle’s, and Torrisi Bar & Restaurant, MFG’s entrance into the Phoenix market is both strategic and symbolic.

“The Ra Ra Room is an extraordinary opportunity to merge luxury hospitality with the vibrant energy of Phoenix sports and entertainment. It’s designed to deliver an elevated experience that redefines hospitality standards in Phoenix and beyond.”

A New Social Epicenter for Phoenix

Open during every Suns home game, select Mercury games, concerts, and Thursday through Saturday regardless of arena events, The Ra Ra Room positions itself as a recurring destination rather than a one-off indulgence. Members can use it as a pre-game sanctuary, a post-concert hideaway, or a standalone Friday night out—with or without a ticket to the show.

The club’s operations are managed by Oak View Group in partnership with MFG, while construction was led by Okland Construction and overseen by CAA ICON. It’s a carefully orchestrated effort with one goal: to create something Phoenix—and the sports hospitality world—has never seen before.
