An AI-native product is one where the AI does the main job, so if you pulled the model out, there'd be nothing left to sell.
An AI-powered product worked fine before the AI showed up and picked up features along the way. (Judging by product pages in 2026, that describes everything up to and including the office coffee machine.)
Both kinds can coach reps well, and the best AI-native sales coaching platforms don't automatically beat an AI-heavy suite with years of data behind it. Fit decides the winner, because a phone floor, an enterprise AE team, and a Salesforce shop each need something different from a coaching tool.
So I've sorted these ten by the use case each one handles best, with integrations, pricing as of October 2026, and the thing to watch for on each.
If you want the answer first, here it is:
Alpharun is the best AI-native sales coaching platform for high-volume inside sales teams, because it grades every call against a playbook drawn from your top performers and gives each rep a focused set of weekly priorities that managers can track on later calls.
For enterprise deals, Gong is the AI-heavy revenue suite and Aircover the AI-native live-call agent. Hyperbound and Second Nature are AI-native sales coaching platforms for role-play practice, and Mindtickle runs certification at scale.
Balto delivers live help on phone floors, Agentforce Sales Coach keeps practice inside Salesforce, Salesloft coaches from its engagement suite, and Chorus by ZoomInfo is post-call conversation intelligence.
The same platform can be a perfect fit for one team and expensive shelfware for another. The difference usually comes down to which of these five problems keeps you up at night.
High-volume inside sales. Reps take call after call all day, and a manager can listen to a sliver of them. The problem is coverage: knowing what every rep did on every call, then choosing the one thing worth fixing this week.
B2B enterprise AEs. Fewer calls, bigger deals, and a buying committee that reshuffles mid-quarter. Coaching here is as much about deal strategy as call technique, so tools that understand the opportunity earn their keep.
SDR/BDR outbound. Cold calls are short and unforgiving (the prospect's thumb is already hovering over "decline"). Reps need lots of practice on openers and objections before they burn through real leads.
Onboarding-heavy teams. If you hire in waves, your biggest costs are ramp time and trainer bandwidth. You need practice that scales without cloning your best trainer, plus a way to certify that new hires are ready.
Salesforce-standardized orgs. When IT answers every tool request with "can Salesforce do it?", coaching that lives inside the opportunity record wins by default. The open question is whether practice alone covers what your reps need.
Use case: Inside sales, enrollment, lending, solar, telecom, and education teams where reps live on the phone and call volume outruns any manager's listening hours.
What it does well: The platform finds the behaviors behind your successful calls and builds a shared playbook of the questions to ask, information to explain, steps to follow, and outcomes to measure. Each finished call gets graded against that standard within minutes of hanging up.
Those scores feed each rep's performance profile, weekly priorities, and goals. Managers add notes, share top call examples, and use progress tracking to see whether targeted behaviors improve on the next calls.
Managers can type a question about the team into its Ask feature and get answers pulled from real conversations, while scheduled Automations push reports and alerts (with quotes and call links) to whoever needs them.
AI role plays turn gaps from real calls into voice simulations, learning journeys, and assessments with retries. AI voice agents cover qualification, intake, and off-hours calls, scored against the same standards as your human reps (nobody, silicon or otherwise, gets a pass).
A customer story from Chapter, a Medicare advisory firm, shows 100% of calls evaluated against 60+ custom playbook criteria and 25 hours saved per manager each week on manual call review.
Senior Sales Manager Thomas Pruitt once struggled to coach eight to ten advisors a week and now meets with 47. In his words, "I'm able to coach 4x as many people as I used to."
Integrations: The site names no specific dialer or CRM connectors. Playbook setup takes two weeks on average, with the team bringing in your call recordings, and the company meets SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and AIUC-1 AI safety standards.
Pricing: Quote-based as of October 2026, with numbers shared in a demo.
Watch for: Coaching kicks in once each call ends, so teams that want whispered prompts mid-conversation will need a live-assist tool alongside it. It's also built for phone calls more than multi-party video meetings.
Gong is the best fit for enterprise AEs working long, multi-stakeholder deals, because its coaching sits on top of deal context.
Use case: B2B enterprise teams whose coaching conversations start with "where is this deal stuck?" and end with call technique.
What it does well: Gong Enable pairs an AI Call Reviewer that scores calls automatically with a coaching inbox that "keeps all feedback and tasks in one place."
AI Trainer builds role-plays from past conversations, and reps can rehearse an upcoming meeting against a replica of the real customer persona and account (a dress rehearsal where the understudy knows your pricing objections).
Its Initiative Tracking connects a coaching program to the numbers leaders care about, like win rate, deal size, and ramp time. AI company Anthropic is featured on Gong's homepage with a "46% decrease in ramp time."
Gong's trust page lists SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO/IEC 42001:2023, and customer data is "never used to train generative models." Gong isn't a HIPAA covered entity, though it maps HIPAA controls in its SOC 2 Type II audit.
Integrations: More than 300 through the Gong Collective, including CRMs, content management systems, and learning management systems. The directory shows Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Highspot, and connecting your existing stack is free.
Pricing: Quote-based as of October 2026, with per-user licenses plus a platform fee tied to user count. Gong Enable doesn't offer a free trial.
Watch for: The pages reviewed name no live guidance while a call is underway. Teams running short, transactional phone calls should check whether a deal-centric tool matches how they sell.
Use case: SDR and BDR teams that need reps sharp on openers and objections before they dial real prospects.
What it does well: Hyperbound Practice runs role-plays against customizable AI buyer bots, with custom AI scorecards and coaching. Hyperbound Perform adds real call scoring, deal coaching, a native recorder, and bite-sized role-plays generated from real deal signals.
Every score comes with a "Why were you scored this way?" walkthrough that cites the exact transcript line, which ends a lot of "but I did ask about budget" debates. Practice runs in 25+ languages, and Hyperbound is named in Gartner's Market Overview for B2B Sales AI Roleplay Applications.
Marketing platform Klaviyo, which scaled practice across 1,000+ GTM reps, reports that "New-hire productivity per rep (PPR) climbed 42% YoY." Security covers SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, with support for GDPR and HIPAA requirements, SSO, and SIEM.
Integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce, and Dynamics on the CRM side, recorders and dialers like Gong, Zoom, and Orum, plus Seismic, Highspot, and WorkRamp for content. It also covers SSO and SCIM through Workday, Okta, and Rippling, and works inside Slack and Teams.
Pricing: There's a free tier with 45 prebuilt AI role-plays. Practice and Perform are enterprise plans priced per user with separate licenses, so paid pricing is quote-based as of October 2026.
Watch for: Live call coaching is still in private preview. Real-call scoring also needs the Perform license, and Hyperbound's own FAQ says "measurable improvement only comes from running the two together."
Second Nature is the best pick for teams that onboard in waves and can't put a trainer next to every new hire.
Use case: Onboarding-heavy teams that need dozens of new reps practicing the same conversations in the same week.
What it does well: It creates AI personas for 1:1, group, and chat scenarios, including video avatars and a multi-persona meeting for B2B practice. Type out a scenario or drop in your existing training content, and a working role-play is ready in minutes.
Feedback lands right after every session, and one customer quote notes that "The simulation flags when the rep launches into solutions too early" (a habit most managers spend years trying to train out). Gamified certifications, 30+ languages, and mobile-browser access round it out.
GoHealth's case study shows onboarding cut from "nine weeks" to "four weeks and counting," so new hires "start making effective calls five weeks earlier than before." Security covers SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
Integrations: Salesforce, HubSpot, MS Active Directory, and SSO, and it plugs into any LMS through SCORM or LTI.
Pricing: Quote-based as of October 2026. There's no live pricing page, so cost questions end at a demo request.
Watch for: It's a practice gym, so you'll need something else to grade what reps say once a real buyer picks up. Plan how you'll confirm that onboarding practice carries over to the phones.
Use case: Large sales orgs certifying hundreds or thousands of reps on a new pitch, product launch, or methodology at the same time.
What it does well: Mindtickle's AI Sales Role Play can "grade thousands of submissions in minutes," which is the difference between a certification program and a backlog. It supports pitch competitions, certifications, and demo practice with screen share in 25+ languages.
Behavior Intelligence analyzes calls, assessments, and past role-plays to find each rep's "Know-Do-Gap™," then builds role-plays to close it. On the recorded-call side, AI Copilot grades talk time, pace, questions asked, and similar behaviors tied to winning calls.
Cisco's Chris Jackson says Mindtickle helped Cisco roll out training to 18,000 sellers in six weeks, and Janssen India reports "a 50% reduction in rep ramp time." The trust page lists ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2, SOC 3, CSA STAR, and GDPR, plus compliance with the EU AI Act and ISO 42001.
Integrations: Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Gmail, Slack, Okta, Highspot, and Seismic.
Pricing: Quote-based as of October 2026, since the pricing page returns a 404.
Watch for: Mindtickle is a broad enablement suite covering training, content, and certifications, which is a heavier rollout than a point coaching tool. The pages reviewed also show no live guidance on calls.
Aircover is the best choice when your AEs need the right rebuttal while the buyer is still talking.
Use case: B2B AEs on Zoom, Teams, Meet, or Webex who face technical and competitive objections they can't always answer alone.
What it does well: Its Objection Handling agent promises "The right rebuttal, on the spot," and a Virtual Sales Engineer offers "Instant answers to technical questions." Live guidance runs turn by turn with battlecards, talk tracks, and methodology prompts matched to deal stage.
Post-meeting, it drafts the notes, updates the CRM, and scores calls so you can see whether MEDDPICC (or whatever you run) is landing.
An MCP server even pipes conversation, CRM, and coaching data into Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini (for the team that wants to ask a chatbot about its other chatbot).
Cloudflare's Tracye Shaw reports "a 3.5x increase in revenue for Zero Trust," with 80% of the team on Aircover. Security includes SOC 2 Type II and GDPR, and because it doesn't depend on recording, it works where recording rules are strict.
Integrations: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Webex, bi-directional Salesforce sync, HubSpot, and ServiceNow. Sales tools include Highspot, Salesloft, Outreach, and Nooks, plus Twilio, Vonage, and an API.
Pricing: Quote-based as of October 2026, with per-user pricing, unlimited AI agents and queries, and integrations and onboarding included.
Watch for: There's no role-play or practice environment. The product is built for B2B meetings, so high-volume phone teams should test it against their own call style.
Use case: Contact-center sales floors where required steps and disclosures need to happen on every call, every time.
What it does well: Balto connects to the phone system you already run and walks agents through Smart Checklists while the conversation is happening. Floor supervisors see coaching alerts as calls unfold, and Live Listen lets them hop onto the audio and send the agent a message.
Once calls end, every interaction gets auto-scored on scorecards built per channel, and coaching sessions are assembled from each agent's own recordings. Pharmacy-benefits company EmpiRx cut ramp time by up to 50%, from six to eight weeks down to four.
Balto says it's "Trusted by 300+ leading customers where sales, CX, & compliance matter." It's SOC 2 Type II certified, HIPAA compliant, and PCI DSS certified, which covers most of the questions your compliance team will ask first.
Integrations: Native connections to NICE, Genesys, RingCentral, 8x8, Convoso, and Five9, with prebuilt integrations for 60+ providers. Older phone systems with limited APIs can use call ingestion.
Pricing: Quote-based as of October 2026, with no published rate card.
Watch for: Balto is built for phone-based teams, so video-heavy B2B sellers are outside its sweet spot. Plan for about 45 days to get fully live, depending on your phone system and team size.
Agentforce Sales Coach is the best option for Salesforce-standardized orgs that want rep practice without adding another vendor to the stack.
Use case: Salesforce shops where reps rehearse pitches and negotiations against open opportunities before they get on the phone.
What it does well: Trailhead describes it as giving "deal-specific, personalized feedback to sellers on their messaging and customer communication." It ships with three prebuilt subagents: Opportunity Coaching, Negotiation/Review Role-Play, and Proposal Quote Role-Play.
The role-play subagents simulate a customer, and Opportunity Coaching gives feedback after a role-play or pitch practice across five stages: Qualification, Needs Analysis, Discovery, Proposal/Pricing, and Negotiation/Review. Admins can customize the prompt templates in Prompt Builder.
The appeal is obvious if your reps already live in the opportunity record, because practice happens next to the deal data. Salesforce publishes no customer results or Sales Coach-specific security details on the pages reviewed, so ask for both.
Integrations: It runs natively in Salesforce Sales Cloud and uses your CRM opportunity data.
Pricing: Not separately published as of October 2026. Salesforce lists an "Agentforce for Sales" add-on from $125 per user per month on top of editions from $25 to $550, but it doesn't name Sales Coach, so confirm what's included (and bring a calculator).
Watch for: It requires Salesforce Sales Cloud and isn't usable outside it. It's also practice and feedback only, with no scoring of real recorded calls.
Use case: Teams that live in cadences and want coaching to show up as a task next to the rep's next step.
What it does well: Salesloft's conversation intelligence "automatically records, transcribes, and analyzes every sales call," scores calls automatically, and drafts summaries, follow-up emails, and CRM updates. Battlecards surface live while reps handle objections.
Coachable moments become tasks in rep workflows, and the coaching page ties activity to meetings booked, opportunities created, and pipeline generated. IBM's Senior Inbound Digital Sales Leader says, "It lets me drill down rep by rep and have specific conversations around their activity."
Salesloft merged with Clari on December 3, 2025, and since September 2026 Clari's conversation intelligence continues as part of Salesloft. Its services undergo SOC 2 Type 2 examinations, alongside ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and GDPR and CCPA support.
Integrations: The conversation intelligence page mentions partner integrations without naming specific meeting, CRM, or dialer connectors. Bring your list and ask.
Pricing: Quote-based as of October 2026. The /pricing page sends you to a "Book time with us" form.
Watch for: Coaching lives inside a large engagement and forecasting platform with no AI role-play. The company is also still folding the two products together, so confirm which coaching features are generally available on your contract.
Use case: B2B teams that learn best by listening to each other's strongest calls.
What it does well: Peer Review recommends high-scoring calls for reps to study, and Smart Playlists automatically add new calls that meet your criteria to a library. Insights arrive "within minutes after your call ends."
Managers can set up Coaching Initiatives around their methodology, rate reps with scorecards, and leave personalized feedback. Benchmarks track talk-to-listen ratio, filler words, and next steps, and the Chorus mobile app handles coaching away from a desk.
On the deal side, Momentum by Chorus and a patented Deal Recommendation Engine sit alongside the coaching tools, and ZoomInfo says Chorus is backed by 14 technology patents.
Hudl's Michaela Bulling, a Revenue Enablement Supervisor, puts it simply: "Chorus brings customer conversations to life." Security sits under ZoomInfo's company-wide SOC, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and ISO 27701 badges.
Integrations: ZoomInfo cites "out-of-box, customizable integrations" across video conferencing, sales engagement, and CRMs without naming them. Momentum insights are available in Chorus, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Clari.
Pricing: Quote-based as of October 2026. ZoomInfo's pricing page lists Chorus with no price.
Watch for: Everything here happens after the fact, so there's no live help on calls and no AI role-play environment. The product pages also show little new AI coaching copy, so ask for a roadmap walkthrough.
Where do your reps talk to buyers? If it's the phone, favor tools that plug into dialers and contact-center systems. If it's Zoom or Teams, favor meeting-native tools, because a phone-floor tool on video calls (or the reverse) is a slow, expensive mismatch.
When do reps need help: before, during, or after the call? Practice tools work before, live-assist tools work during, and scored-call coaching works after. Most teams end up needing two of the three, so decide which one is the foundation.
Who owns the definition of a good call? A custom playbook or scorecard only helps if someone keeps it current. Name that person before the first demo, and ask each vendor how much of the setup they'll carry.
What will your CRM and security teams approve? A Salesforce-standardized org may get a faster yes on a native tool. If you need HIPAA, PCI DSS, or EU data residency, ask for documentation in week one so procurement doesn't surprise you in week six.
How will you know it worked in 90 days? Pick one behavior and one outcome per team, measure both before rollout, and agree on what "better" looks like before anyone logs in.
Here's a test that takes ten seconds and needs no vendor. Ask each of your managers: "Can you name the one behavior each rep is working on this week?"
If every manager can answer for every rep, your coaching has focus, and the right platform will make it faster. If the answer is a pause, a shrug, or "we're working on discovery generally" (the coaching equivalent of "eat healthier"), the gap is focus, and more call summaries won't close it.
Run the same test 30 days after any rollout. The platform that turns that pause into a specific answer for every rep is the one earning its seat.
Alpharun is the best fit for high-volume inside sales, because it scores every call and turns the patterns into weekly priorities for each rep. Managers get coverage of the whole floor without spending their week listening to recordings.
Agentforce Sales Coach covers role-play practice and stage-specific feedback inside Salesforce, although it doesn't score your reps' recorded calls. Teams that want coaching based on real conversations usually pair it with a call-scoring or conversation intelligence tool.
Most give new hires AI role-plays with realistic buyers and scored feedback, so they rehearse tough conversations before touching a live lead. The stronger setups then check whether those practiced skills show up on each new rep's first real calls.
