David Yurman has officially opened the doors to its newest flagship boutique in Miami’s Design District, a neighborhood defined by its creative pulse and architectural ambition. Conceived as both a retail destination and artistic installation, the two-story boutique reflects the legacy of a brand founded by artists and rooted in sculptural design.

Overseen by President and Chief Creative Officer Evan Yurman, in collaboration with Italian architect Andrea Tognon and Consulting Creative Director Bernadette Blanc, the Miami flagship is a physical manifestation of the house’s heritage—one where the iconic Cable motif and the family’s reverence for materiality are reinterpreted through the lens of modern design.

Where Jewelry Meets Architecture

From the moment you encounter the boutique’s facade, the artistic intent is clear. The structure appears to have been carved from a monolithic stone, split and fused with metallic paint, creating a commanding presence on the street.

Tognon, whose minimalist but elemental design language mirrors the tactile elegance of the David Yurman brand, commented:

“We started discussing the project from the perspective of jewelry—cutting the façade from a gigantic volume of stone.”

The exterior’s extruded logo, a bold expression of the brand’s Americana DNA, serves as both signage and sculpture—an intentional nod to the fusion of heritage and innovation that underpins the entire concept.

Inside, the experience unfolds with quiet complexity. Granite walls curve like a draped necklace, stone fixtures glisten with layered finishes, and Cable references appear throughout—subtly embedded into handrails and vitrines. A private second-floor salon, overlooking the Design District, houses men’s, women’s, and high jewelry collections alongside pieces from David Yurman’s personal art collection, offering a rare glimpse into the aesthetic undercurrents of the brand’s evolution.

A Collection Reflecting Miami’s Palette

To mark the opening, the boutique introduces Miami-exclusive designs inspired by the city’s chromatic energy and coastal vitality. Featuring semi-precious stones in vivid tones—electric pink, cobalt blue, fire orange, neon green—the pieces feel entirely at home in a city where color isn’t just tolerated but celebrated. These radiant additions mirror the city’s mood and add a fresh chapter to the brand’s ongoing dialogue with place and artistry.

A New Flagship for a New Era

For Evan Yurman, the Miami store marks a deeper milestone.

“This space reflects our family legacy and shared vision to create beautiful things that inspire us—whether that be our product, store experience, or design.”

The choice of Miami, and particularly the Design District, was deliberate: a city that values both edge and elegance, much like the jewelry itself.

Tognon adds, “The retail world is constantly rethinking itself… Our goal was innovation coexisting with the brand’s rich heritage. Working together, we were able to design a classic design ground in which new and existing consumers can feel comfortable exploring.”

The Miami flagship began welcoming clients with a soft opening in March and officially celebrated its grand opening on May 1. It is now open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM, inviting visitors into a space where fine jewelry, art, and architecture converge in a distinctly David Yurman vernacular.
