For those unfamiliar, Cactus Club Cafe is far from just another chain restaurant. Since opening its first location in 1988, the brand has carved out a loyal following across Canada for its upbeat, design-forward atmosphere and thoughtfully curated, chef-led menu. The Miami debut will be the 35th location overall and part of a broader U.S. push, with new outposts also on the horizon in Boston and Houston.

The upcoming Cactus Club Cafe will be located within the Citigroup Center, a 34-story tower at 201 S. Biscayne Blvd. More than just an office building, the Citigroup Center boasts direct access to Bayfront Park and sweeping views of Biscayne Bay—making it a prime destination for locals and professionals alike.

“We are delighted to welcome Cactus Club Cafe... and look forward to Cactus injecting a fresh energy into the area, creating a sought-after dining destination for our tenants and the broader Miami community.”
Ana Castro, General Manager of Citigroup Center

The 810,000-square-foot tower offers an enviable urban backdrop for Cactus Club Cafe’s design-centric philosophy. The restaurant’s aesthetic—defined by sleek interiors, ambient lighting, and a lively soundtrack—will find natural synergy with Downtown Miami’s rising culinary and cultural profile.

Leading the kitchen will be Executive Chef Greg McCallum, alongside the brand’s internal Test Kitchen team, a collective of culinary experts responsible for ideating and executing Cactus Club Cafe’s signature dishes. While specific details about the Miami menu have yet to be released, guests can expect the same commitment to flavor and finesse that has defined the brand’s Canadian locations.

At the core of Cactus Club Cafe’s identity is its ability to balance familiarity with flair—offering dishes that are approachable yet refined, rooted in high-quality ingredients and executed with precision. Each plate is designed to feel special, even on an ordinary weekday, reinforcing the brand’s ethos of "elevated everyday dining."

Building the Miami Team

With the countdown to opening underway, Cactus Club Cafe is actively building its Miami team and will be hosting hiring events throughout the summer.
