A Weekend Tradition Gets a Tasteful Twist

Miami’s Wynwood district is no stranger to spectacle, but this summer, the art-filled enclave turns its focus squarely on food. Launching July 19 and running every Saturday and Sunday through August 31, Wynwood’s Kitchen Hop invites locals and travelers alike to explore the neighborhood’s culinary scene in an accessible, high-energy format designed for discovery—and indulgence.

The self-guided tasting tour, organized by event production powerhouse SWARM and presented in partnership with Bucketlisters, transforms the neighborhood into a hyperlocal food crawl. Participants will bounce between 15 of Wynwood’s top restaurants, sipping curated cocktails, sampling signature bites, and soaking in the character of Miami’s most expressive quarter. The event isn’t just a celebration of food—it’s a community-driven boost for small businesses during the city’s slower summer season.

How It Works: Taste, Sip, and Hop

From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, ticket holders chart their own path using a neighborhood tasting map, with each stop offering small plates, chef-driven samples, or drink specials. Participating restaurants rotate weekly, but guests can expect names like ICON Mediterranean, Le Chick, Tacos Atarantados, Barcelona Wine Bar, Tacology, and Doya—all known for menus that balance creativity with approachability.

What sets Kitchen Hop apart is its dual appeal: high-quality food at a price point that doesn’t feel out of reach. It’s as much an opportunity for casual diners to access elevated menus as it is a platform for restaurants to showcase their signature dishes to a broader audience.

More Than a Crawl: The Afterparty at Wynwood Marketplace

  • A complimentary cocktail

  • Access to five full-service bars

  • Live DJ sets

  • Branded swag and surprise giveaways

Expect high-energy entertainment, a lively crowd, and a setting that continues Wynwood’s signature mix of food, music, and community spirit.

Bringing Local Flavor to the Forefront

"Wynwood has become one of the most exciting food destinations in Florida, and The Kitchen Hop is our way of celebrating that. We wanted to create something that combines the culinary magic of the neighborhood with the energy and fun people expect when they come to Wynwood. It's more than a food crawl; it's a full immersion into the best food, drinks, and culture the area offers."
Javi Zayas, CEO and Founder of SWARM

With Wynwood continuing to rise as one of Florida’s most compelling food destinations, Kitchen Hop presents a casual but curated lens into what makes the area thrive: an appreciation for creativity, a love of local business, and a culinary scene that’s as colorful as the murals that line its streets.
