Julien's Auctions MusiCares Charity Relief Auction: A Celebration of Music and Philanthropy

Supporting Music Professionals, One Bid at a Time

Caroline Dalal

This February, music history will meet heartfelt philanthropy at Julien's Auctions MusiCares Charity Relief Auction, held in Santa Monica, California, and online. Coinciding with the 67th GRAMMY® Week, the event isn’t just an auction—it’s a celebration of music’s power to heal and connect. From Bruce Springsteen’s signed Telecaster to Dolly Parton’s sequined jumpsuit, this charity event offers a unique blend of artistry and altruism, all in support of MusiCares’ vital mission.

What Is MusiCares?

MusiCares, established by the Recording Academy® in 1989, is more than just a charity; it's a lifeline for those behind the music. Whether addressing immediate crises, such as the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, or providing mental health support, addiction recovery, and essential living assistance, MusiCares ensures the people who create the soundtrack to our lives have the support they need. As Executive Director Laura Segura eloquently put it, “The generosity of artists and fans fuels our mission to care for those who make music possible.”

A Star-Studded Lineup of Memorabilia

Sting signed Duets Record Album, Symphonicities CD, and an additional Record from the seventeen-time GRAMMY award-winning Police legend with forty-five GRAMMY nominations ($300-$500)

This year’s auction promises over 60 one-of-a-kind items, donated by the industry’s brightest stars. Among the highlights:

  • Bruce Springsteen’s Signed Fender Telecaster: A nod to the rock legend’s iconic sound, this guitar features his signature and distinctive doodles.

  • Dolly Parton’s Sequined Jumpsuit: A sparkling reminder of her MusiCares Person of the Year honor in 2019.

  • Coldplay’s Dublin Concert Setlist: Handwritten by Chris Martin and brimming with hits like “Clocks” and “Yellow.”

  • K-Pop Glamour: Custom outfits from NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, showcasing the global reach of music.

  • Neil Young’s Gibson Les Paul: A wine-red beauty signed by the two-time GRAMMY® winner.

From stage-worn ensembles to signed guitars, each piece tells a story of creativity and resilience.

The live auction will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at The Recording Academy. With online bidding available, fans and collectors worldwide can vie for their slice of music history. Registration details and more information can be found at Julien's Auctions.

Making an Impact
