Tucked amid the tree-lined streets of Fairfield County and only a short drive from Manhattan, Hyatt Regency Greenwich is offering a sophisticated new way to savor summer with its Greenwich Getaway Package, now available through September 30, 2025. The experience is tailored for discerning travelers seeking a balance of coastal ease, elevated amenities, and proximity to nature—all anchored by the hotel’s recent $40 million transformation.
The 374-room property has undergone a sweeping renovation that touches nearly every corner of the hotel, from its glass-domed atrium and lobby spaces to its guest rooms and gathering areas. The refresh embraces the timeless, coastal charm of New England with subtle nods to local craftsmanship, natural textures, and a palette that evokes shoreline serenity. The result is a calming and contemporary destination ideal for couples or friends seeking a polished yet peaceful summer respite.
At $1,650 for a two-night stay, the Greenwich Getaway Package is designed as a curated journey through indulgence, wellness, and nature. Guests are welcomed with daily breakfast for two and custom cocktails from Townsend, the hotel’s moonlit bar helmed by Executive Chef Joe D’Agostino. Overlooking the lobby atrium, Townsend merges classic technique with local flavor in a setting that’s intimate and atmospheric.
Outdoor adventure is gently woven throughout the itinerary. Guests receive a Glenna’s Café-prepared gourmet picnic basket—perfect for an afternoon at one of Greenwich’s nearby beaches. The package also comes with a stylish Ultimate Summer Kit stocked with branded beach towels, chairs, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
To deepen the restorative element, the package includes two exclusive sessions: a private hour-long yoga class hosted onsite by Connecticut Power Yoga, and a private birding excursion through the Oneida Sanctuary, one of seven nature preserves in Greenwich overseen by the National Audubon Society. The latter is a rare opportunity to explore a protected ecosystem led by expert naturalists.
The Greenwich Getaway must be booked at least one week in advance and is subject to availability and blackout dates. Interested guests can reserve the package by emailing salesgwich@hyatt.com.
