MedMiami Channeled the Turkish Riviera in a Chic Art Basel

Sahir Erozan and Maçakizi Bodrum kicked-off Art Basel and the opening night of the MedMiami pop-up, designed to bring the spirit of the Turkish Riviera and its creativity to the coveted Art Basel Miami. Famed for throwing legendary parties at his award-winning hotel, Maçakizi Bodrum, Sahir welcomed a group of art lovers and VIPs to experience a taste of the luxury Mediterranean Villa on the Miami shore. Guests of the private beach dinner and party included Julia Toledano, Nadia Fairfax, Jay Lyon, Guy Laliberté, Avelin Babel, Tyler Novo, George Sotelo, and more influentials in the worlds of art and design.

In true fashion, Dom Pérignon played into the luxury essence of Maçakizi through a culinary experience curated by Chefs Marco Fadiga, Carlo Bernardini, and Aret Sahakyan.  The luxury Maison served their latest vintages of 2010, 2012 and Rosé 2008 to pair with the menu of Golden Volzhenka Caviar and fresh seafood over a 5 course gourmand meal.  This chic beachside pop up was open from Dec 1-4 on Ocean and 14th and embodied the chic laid back vibe of spending summer nights in the Mediterranean married with unique art pieces by Turkish artists Elif Uras, İdil İlkin and Mehmet Ali Uysal.

After dinner, the night continued with music by DJ Can Hatipoğlu and cocktails by Belvedere Vodka.
