MIAMI, FL – On Wednesday, July 13 at 7:30PM Miami's very own, Ema Savahl Couture, will be debuting a new swimwear collection at the opening show of Miami Swim Week™ The Shows at SLS Hotel South Beach. Ema Savahl Couture will be featuring 36 new looks and a matching NFT collection in a new virtual fashion swimwear Metaverse like never seen before. During the opening show, there will be a silent auction with all ticket sales and auction proceeds donated to The Little Lighthouse Foundation.
Ema's collection is inspired by a goddess' love for nature through exquisite, handpainted artwork imposed onto garments to produce three-dimensional textures. The story of this collection is told in three parts. Part one "The Painted Lady" Ema is in celebration of the female essence in every woman. Sheisborrowing looks from her vintage collections of delicate corsetry, hand-painted flowers, crystals, and bows. In part two, her woman is merged with nature, she is in vibrant greens and psychedelic colored flowers. Nature is blooming through her. In part three the whole look transforms into a more spiritual realm where the same leaves and flowers become alive, and you start seeing life running through glowing veins.
The subtle glow in turquoise hues blues and purples shows how nature, spirituality, and technology merge together in beautiful harmony. Ema closes the collection with a glow-in-the-dark butterfly as a sign of the major transformation going on in our world. This way she completes a full circle of ¼ of a century in service to the female essence, her beauty, her strength, and her evolution. Ema believes that technology is the training wheels to our new spirituality, and states, "We are moving into a digital world that is mirroring our reality. As we use technology to manipulate our lives, we must be aware not to stray too far from our true human nature made of love, compassion, and friendship. The collection is about the healthy way of using technology to respect, enhance and beautify our humanity".
This will be Miami Swim Weeks' first-ever swimwear fashion-centric Metaverse experience for a global fashion swimwear audience, ultimately eliminating traditional barriers to entry found in the fashion industry.
