What: The Blonds Miami Swim Week 2023 Runway Show

The Blonds are inherently about excess – even at the beach. For their first official foray into resort wear, they have created a collection of pieces that will take you from slinking by the pool in heels to the hottest nightspot imaginable. Inspired by the seminal seaside film Overboard, starring Goldie Hawn, mixed with Miami Beach in the 1990s, and a cast of colorful characters like the fan-favorite Teletubbies, the Miami Swim Week moment is literally all about fun and making magic in the sun. The Blonds welcomed guests to Paraiso Swim Week on Saturday with a reception held at Queen with cocktails by House of Suntory while also closing out the weekend on Sunday as the finale show with an after-party held at The Miami Beach EDITION.

The Blonds is a luxury apparel brand based in New York City, co-founded by designer Phillipe Blond and creative director David Blond. The Blonds are best known for creating collections that are glamorously over the top with a rebellious twist that caters to the entertainment industry. Inspired by music, film, and art, the brand utilizes an eclectic mix of textiles and embroidery to create hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind garments that focus on accentuating the human form.
