Louis Vuitton Elevates Easter Indulgence with a New Collection of Chocolates by Maxime Frédéric

A Celebration of Artisanal Excellence and Luxury Confectionery

Caroline Dalal

Louis Vuitton has once again redefined the intersection of fashion and gourmet craftsmanship with the launch of its exclusive Easter chocolate collection, masterfully created by Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton. This year’s collection introduces the “Chocolate Egg Bag,” an exquisite edible reinterpretation of the iconic bag designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for the 2019 Spring-Summer show. The artistic transformation of this coveted piece into fine chocolate represents an elegant fusion of haute couture and culinary excellence.

The Chocolate Egg Bag is a masterful creation, crafted with 70% dark chocolate shells that reflect the original bag’s sleek design, while 40% milk chocolate handles and zipper pulls add a rich contrast. At its core, a milk chocolate bar filled with a decadent hazelnut gianduja centre awaits, making this piece as indulgent as it is visually stunning. This marks the first time that Louis Vuitton has translated the artistry of its leather craftsmanship into the world of chocolate, elevating the experience of luxury confectionery.

Beyond the signature Chocolate Egg Bag, the collection also features a series of refined Easter eggs, reimagined in three exceptional recipes, catering to both dark and milk chocolate aficionados. Two dark chocolate variations include one infused with raspberry caramel and pistachio praline, while another blends Réunion Island blue vanilla caramel with crunchy buckwheat gianduja. For those who favor milk chocolate, an egg filled with Tahitian vanilla caramel and hazelnut praline provides a delicate yet indulgent treat. These handcrafted chocolates are available in curated three-piece and six-piece boxes, making them a refined and elegant gift for the season.
