LONDON — The British Fashion Council (BFC) and Pandora have announced a bold evolution in their partnership for The Fashion Awards 2025, introducing the Style Moment of the Year Award presented by Pandora. The accolade will debut at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday, December 1, honoring the stylist behind a single fashion or entertainment moment that has left an enduring mark on culture, innovation, and influence.
Formerly known as the Pandora Leader of Change Award, this reimagined category reflects the expanding role of stylists as cultural architects—professionals whose work now reverberates across red carpets, film, music, and social media, creating moments that define the year and echo beyond it.
The shift underscores Pandora and the BFC’s shared commitment to spotlighting the power of cultural storytelling in fashion. In an age where a single look can dominate headlines and inspire global conversation, the award’s criteria go beyond aesthetics, honoring work that:
Drives cultural conversation, sparking widespread discussion and reflecting key societal moments
Pushes creative boundaries in design, styling, and presentation
Captures global attention through influence and virality
Integrates jewellery, embellishment, or accessories in a transformative way
Balances timelessness and timeliness, ensuring its relevance as a defining statement
“Empowering self-expression is at the core of what Pandora stands for. This award shines a light on the creative force of stylists, those who craft identity through the styling of jewellery and fashion.”Berta de Pablos-Barbier, Chief Marketing Officer at Pandora
Laura Weir, CEO of the British Fashion Council, added, “We’re thrilled to evolve this award in partnership with Pandora to celebrate a singular fashion moment that defines a year and lives on beyond it.”
The inaugural Style Moment of the Year will be selected by a panel including Clara Mercer, CMO of the BFC; Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli, Creative Directors at Pandora; and notable voices such as Beka Gvishiani (Style Not Com), Elias Medini (Lyas), Hanan Besovic (ideservecouture), Kim Russell (thekimbono), and Nicky Campbell. The panel will be moderated by freelance writer Lakeisha Goedluck.
The Fashion Awards remain a vital fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, which supports emerging talent through education, business mentoring, and four major talent prizes, including the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund and BFC NEWGEN. The 2025 ceremony will once again underscore fashion’s role as a cultural force, intersecting with music, film, sport, and performance art to shape the visual language of today.
This December, all eyes will be on the Royal Albert Hall as the industry gathers to honor the creatives who transform fleeting moments into enduring cultural touchstones—proof that a single look can define not just a season, but an era.
