In 2016, after an impressive 38-year long career with Smith & Wollensky, Victor Chavez retired. Less than a year into his retirement, Chavez couldn't escape the dream of opening his own restaurant. Quickly changing gears when he saw the 62 Greenwich Avenue location, Chavez decided to make his comeback, but this time in a totally different intimate, downtown setting – something he had always wanted to do.

Greenwich Steakhouse redefines the typical steakhouse feel with its elegantly sleek design and light color palate while still maintaining an inviting and comfortable feel.

Greenwich Steakhouse is designed with meticulous attention to detail, offering a different experience on each floor. For a more casual setting, take a seat at the bar for seasonally driven cocktails and an extensive wine list.

Greenwich Steakhouse has rooms for all occasions. Blue Velvet capacity is 40, with an additional 14 seats at the bar and 20 in the lounge area of the restaurant. The Grand Reserve Room on the third floor can comfortably fit 30 guests for a sit-down dinner.
