August 12th, 2025 — Broward County has a new culinary hot spot, and it comes with a side of personality. Dear Olivia Bar & Kitchen, the latest concept from P Hospitality Management—helmed by hospitality veterans Eddie and Christina Pozzuoli and Paul Greenberg—has officially opened at 7805 North University Drive. The project marks Greenberg’s most personal venture yet, named after his nine-year-old daughter, Olivia, whose sense of joy and charisma inspires the restaurant’s atmosphere.

When asked what she wants people to know about the restaurant, Olivia herself said:

“I like them to come to my restaurant, and I like to see people smile.”

That sentiment is woven into every detail—from the playful menu to the welcoming service style.

A Concept Rooted in Fun, Flavor, and Flexibility

Elevated Family Dining Experience In The Heart Of Parkland

With three decades of experience creating high-volume dining destinations, Greenberg—best known as the co-founder of American Social—set out to design an approachable yet polished space that’s as suited for post-game family dinners as it is for Friday night cocktails.

“Whether it’s unwinding with drinks for Happy Hour, watching games on one of our many TVs, enjoying a great dinner with friends or family, or even a quick bite with the kids after a soccer game, there is something for everyone.”

Eddie and Christina Pozzuoli, whose South Florida portfolio includes Corvina Seafood Grill, Prezzo, and Eddie & Vinny’s, embraced the challenge of reimagining the beloved former Déjà Blue space. “It really meant something to the community,” Eddie and Christina noted. “But we’re so excited to blow people away with something fresh and fun that we truly believe Parkland has been waiting for.”

A Menu That Plays with Tradition

Dear Olivia’s kitchen delivers an array of crave-worthy dishes, blending comfort classics with inventive twists. Starters and shareables range from South of the Border Tortilla Soup and Korean-Style Steak Tips to Mushroom & Black Truffle Flatbread and Reuben Egg Rolls. The Sandwiches and Handhelds lineup features standouts like the Double Smash Cheeseburger, OG Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and Smoked Brisket “Poor Boy”.

On the entrée side, highlights include Crispy Beer-Battered Fish & Chips, Shrimp & Grits with cheesy grit cake and sherry Creole cream, Chicken Riggies, Char Siu Pork Chops, and Beef Tenderloin Medallions. The globally inspired Bowls and Salads—such as the Ahi Tuna Poke & Rice Noodle Bowl and Black & Blue Wedge—offer lighter, equally flavorful options.

Olivia even has her own Signature Favorites, including Fresh Baked Mini Buttermilk Biscuits with Pimento Cheese, Cast Iron Baked Brie with Fig Jam, and the whimsical Chicken Tender Combo Board with trio dipping sauces. For a grown-up indulgence, the cheeky Adult Happy Meal pairs a petite Caesar salad and boardwalk fries with a martini.

Cocktails with Character

Under the guidance of beverage director Jose Gill, who led American Social’s cocktail program for 13 years, the drinks list balances trend-forward mixology with accessible favorites. Standouts include:

  • Mucho Macho Mango – Tanteo Habanero, Chinola Mango, fresh mango purée, lime

  • Garden of Eve – Patrón Cristalino, mezcal, ginger juice, agave, cucumber, mint, lime

  • Blood and Honey – Hendrick’s Gin, honey syrup, blood orange liqueur, lemon juice, Rockey’s Botanical

A curated wine list and local craft beers round out the program.

A Space Designed for Gathering

The interior seats 82 in the main dining room, anchored by a striking green-tiled indoor/outdoor bar with 19 seats inside and 17 outside. The al fresco deck offers views of the lagoon and fountain, accommodating up to 90 guests for both casual dining and private events. The design blends soft greens, aquas, blush corals, and creamy neutrals with layered lighting, cozy banquettes, and textured finishes. Outside, twinkle-lit cabanas and lush greenery create an inviting backdrop for brunches, cocktails, and celebrations.
