On Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at 8:15 PM, the 92Y (Buttenwieser Hall) will host comedian Samantha Bee in Conversation with Ana Gasteyer. They will be discussing Bee's new TBS show, "Full Frontal," co-created with her husband Jason Jones, along with her recent roles in Sisters. The talk is part of the 92Y's Funny People series.

The Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2016 NYC Gala will be held at City Winery (155 Varick St.) on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016 at 6:30 PM and will include special appearances and performances by Jessica Hecht, David Hyde Pierce, Kristolyn Lloyd, new band SkyPony, Tony nominee Lauren Worsham, and musician/writer Kyle Jarrow.

On Feb. 15, 2016, at 7:00 PM, William Shatner will be at the Union Square Barnes & Noble (33 E. 17th St.) for an author event and signing. He will be there promoting his new book, Leonard: My Fifty-Year Friendship with a Remarkable Man, his personal story of his half-century friendship with Leonard Nimoy.

Adam Pascal, Eden Espinosa, Telly Leung, Jarrod Spector, Billy Porter, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Joshua Henry, Marcus Paul James, and Michael McElroy, along with The Broadway Inspirational Voices, will participate in the INSPIRATIONAL BROADWAY concert at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill on Feb. 15, 2016 at 7:30 PM, benefiting the BIV Outreach Program.
The World Premiere of Straight, a new play written by Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola and directed by Andy Sandberg will open Off-Broadway this February at the Acorn Theatre @ Theater Row (410 W. 42nd St.). Straight stars Jake Epstein and Thomas E. Sullivan, and begins previews on Feb. 9, 2016, with an opening night scheduled for Feb. 29, 2016. Straight will run through May 8, 2016.
