For more than a decade, the NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival has been a driving force in elevating Latino talent in cinema and music. After ten successful years in New York and Palm Springs, the festival is entering a new chapter—one that aligns with its ambitious global aspirations. From September 5 to 7, 2025, NVISION will make its Miami debut, cementing its status as a premier platform for Latino storytelling.
Miami’s selection as the new home of NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival is more than a geographic shift—it’s a cultural statement. With its rich diversity, thriving arts scene, and deep-rooted Latino influence, Miami provides an unparalleled backdrop for the festival’s continued evolution.
“Moving the festival to Miami isn’t just a logistical choice—it’s a cultural statement. Miami is where the pulse of Latino creativity thrives; every street corner tells a story, and the convergence of diverse Latino voices creates a symphony of innovation. It’s the perfect place for NVISION to grow, inspire, and leave a lasting legacy.”Danny Hastings, NVISION’s Co-Founder
The festival’s new home is a natural extension of its mission—to amplify Latino narratives and celebrate artists in film, music, and media.
“Miami has long been a cultural heartbeat for Latinos, a city where our stories are lived, created, and celebrated. This move marks a new era for the festival, allowing us to elevate Latino storytelling on an even greater scale.”Lex Borrero, CEO of NEON16
Founded in 2015 as the Official Latino Film Festival, NVISION was born out of necessity—to counteract the underrepresentation of Latinos in Hollywood. Over the years, the festival has grown into a global force for change, attracting top industry talent, emerging filmmakers, and artists passionate about reshaping the narrative of Latino storytelling.
In 2024, NVISION partnered with NEON16, an entertainment powerhouse co-founded by Lex Borrero, Tommy Mottola, and Tainy, further cementing its influence. With deep roots in Miami, NEON16 has revolutionized Latin music and film, making the festival’s move a seamless extension of its ongoing mission.
NVISION’s commitment to representation speaks for itself. In 2024, over 60% of submitted films were directed by women—a testament to the festival’s role in championing underrepresented voices in the industry.
The 2025 edition of NVISION promises to be its most dynamic yet, featuring a curated selection of groundbreaking films, live music performances, and engaging panel discussions. The festival’s lineup will continue to spotlight diverse Latino talent, fostering community, collaboration, and industry connections.
