On the evening of Friday, May 23, the RD Grand Prix Superyacht Experience officially set sail on luxury and spectacle, welcoming a select crowd of A-listers, athletes, and tastemakers aboard a 180-foot yacht moored in Port Hercule for the opening night of Monaco Grand Prix weekend. Positioned at the intersection of Formula 1, fine dining, fashion, and entertainment, the event delivered on its promise to redefine the art of experiential luxury.
Helmed by Rosé Day and Agenxy Universe, the inaugural RD Grand Prix kicked off with a by-invitation-only launch party, fusing the glamour of Monte Carlo with curated programming that touched every sensory point—from custom cocktails and Michelin-starred cuisine to live music and immersive brand activations.
The kickoff event drew a guest list as polished as the Riviera coastline. Attendees included Sofia Vergara, Robin Thicke and wife April Love Geary, Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas, Evan Ross, Camille Gottlieb (daughter of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco), NFL icons Tyrod Taylor and Keith J. Bulluck, Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath, and renowned chef Marc Forgione, who curated the onboard culinary experience.
Guests mingled on the yacht’s open decks beneath a Mediterranean sky, toasting the start of Monaco’s most glamorous weekend while overlooking the shimmering Grand Prix harbor.
World class entertainment took center stage all weekend, kicking off with a private performance by 5-Time Grammy Nominated Artist Robin Thicke on Friday, hosted by acclaimed actor and artist Evan Ross and featuring Rémy Martin, French cognac fine champagne.
The entertainment wasn’t just ambiance—it was experience. Each performance was complemented by crafted lighting and sound design, turning the yacht’s multi-deck layout into a floating venue worthy of Monaco’s most exclusive race weekend.
The culinary centerpiece was a lavish menu designed by Iron Chef America champion Marc Forgione, presented in partnership with HexClad. His live-action gourmet stations showcased dishes like truffle barbajuan, tuna tataki, and lobster salad, with a standout live seafood bump bar featuring N25 Caviar, oysters, and hiramasa.
The main event? A theatrical rib of beef flambéed with whisky, prepared on-deck against the Monaco skyline.
Guests browsed an onboard boutique featuring custom swimwear from Oceanus, tailored menswear by Live Fast Die Young, and elevated essentials by Alpha Industries.
Meanwhile, a private exhibition by French contemporary artist Fred Allard turned the yacht’s interior into a gallery space. His collectible works—fusing fashion iconography and Formula 1 energy—captivated collectors and first-time buyers alike.
Friday’s party was just the beginning. RD Grand Prix’s weekend-long experience continued with daytime race viewing and hospitality on Saturday and Sunday, including access to Monaco’s F1 qualifiers and final race. The superyacht also hosted an invite-only Sunday night finale party, featuring a surprise set by a world-renowned DJ and more high-profile guest appearances expected.
At the helm of this ambitious production were Ben Biscotti of Rosé Day, Ashleigh Hillier of Agenxy Universe, nightlife pioneers Sylvain Bitton, JT Torregiani, and David Jarrett, and luxury event designer Tony Schubert of Event Eleven.
