On November 9th, I arrived at Santo Domingo Airport, where I was warmly greeted by a friendly driver who whisked me off to the hotel. The scenic two- to three-hour drive unfolded like a preview of the Dominican Republic’s natural beauty, with rolling hills, lush greenery, and glimpses of the sparkling coastline. By the time we arrived, I felt fully immersed in the Caribbean atmosphere. Stepping into the Wyndham was like crossing into a paradise of relaxation and luxury. After settling in, I met Melanie, the tour coordinator, who took me on a walk around the property for a quick snack. After the boat tour, we anchored at a pristine beach for lunch. A fantastic buffet awaited us, serving authentic Dominican flavors, including perfectly seasoned chicken and a variety of sides. After lunch, I headed to a lounge chair on the beach to relax, taking a nap, sipping on a cold beer, and eventually wading into the turquoise waters. It was the perfect way to recharge before returning to the resort.
Around 4 p.m., we made our way back to Wyndham Alltra Samaná. I spent the evening enjoying the oceanfront resort, basking in the golden hues of the sunset with my feet in the water. With a beer in hand and the sound of waves in the background, I couldn’t help but reflect on how magical the day had been. The All Inclusive Resort truly offers a blend of adventure, relaxation, and luxury, making it a destination I’ll always remember.

Tonight, I dined at one of their best restaurants, Bella. The atmosphere was chic and inviting, perfectly capturing the elegance of the resort. I indulged in a glass of crisp white wine, followed by a mouthwatering plate of pasta with arrabbiata sauce, and finished the evening with a decadent dessert. Dining at Bella was the perfect way to end the night, leaving me in awe of the destination that is Wyndham Alltra Samaná.
The next morning, we started our day with the delightful breakfast buffet, a spread full of fresh and flavorful options that catered to every taste. Afterward, we had the opportunity to explore some of the high-end accommodations the property offers. One standout was a spacious suite designed to comfortably accommodate up to eight guests—an ideal choice for families, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or long-term stays.
This suite was thoughtfully designed for extended visits, featuring two luxurious king-size beds and two queen-size beds, offering ample space for larger groups. What truly stood out was the fully equipped kitchen, which made it easy for guests to prepare their own meals—a significant convenience for those planning to stay for an extended period. Additionally, the private balcony offered breathtaking ocean views, providing the perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of Samaná.

The combination of exceptional food, fine wine, and the serene setting made for a flawless vacation evening, encapsulating everything you’d hope for in a Caribbean escape.
