KĀʻANAPALI, MAUIThe Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Kāʻanapali has reimagined its luxury offering with an enhanced Hōkūpaʻa Tower experience, setting a new standard for hospitality on America’s top-rated beach. Guests can now expect a fully privatized arrival and check-in at The Lānai, exclusive amenities, and an expanded roster of cultural and wellness-focused experiences, all designed to deliver a seamless blend of elevated service and authentic Hawaiian connection.

Personalized Cocktail Service In The Lānai Lounge

A Private Welcome at The Lānai

The journey begins with a lei greeting before guests are escorted to The Lānai, a serene private lounge far removed from the main lobby. Here, the check-in process is transformed into an intimate introduction to the property. Guests are offered a celebratory beverage, a tour of the resort grounds, and an overview of The Lānai’s amenities, which include complimentary breakfast and dinner, craft cocktails, and daily cultural programming.

If accommodations are not immediately available, guests can unwind with a cocktail or light lunch while enjoying the infinity pools that frame sweeping ocean views.

Elevated Amenities for Hōkūpaʻa Guests

The enhanced offering grants guests over the age of 18 direct access to the Heavenly Spa lanai and its exclusive pool area. In-room touches now include upgraded plush pool towels, eliminating the need for towel cards—guests simply present their Hōkūpaʻa wristbands at the towel hut. Custom refillable Hōkūpaʻa water bottles encourage sustainable hydration with refill stations conveniently located around the property.

Cultural Immersion at the Core

True to its Maui roots, Hōkūpaʻa continues to center its experience around cultural programming. Guests can participate in daily activities such as traditional lei making, ulana niu (coconut weaving), and Mōʻōlelo Lahaina, a storytelling session that honors the rich history of Lahaina and its people.

“This is the Hōkūpaʻa experience as it was always intended—personal, elevated, and yet profoundly rooted in the place and culture of Maui. Our team has worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life, and we are proud to offer the only luxury experience on Kāʻanapali Beach, America’s top-rated beach.”
