Jekyll Island’s famed resort is preparing to revive the elegance of its Gilded Age roots in a distinctly fresh format. Braderie South, a refined European-style marketplace, will take over the storied grounds of the Jekyll Island Club Resort from August 22 to 24, combining Southern hospitality with a sophisticated showcase of antiques, fine art, collectibles, and artisan craftsmanship.

Framed by moss-draped live oaks and the club’s historic architecture, this debut event invites collectors, designers, and curious travelers to experience a curated blend of old-world charm and contemporary creativity, all set against the coastal splendor of Georgia’s Golden Isles.

A Southern Spin on a European Tradition

Braderie Invite

Inspired by the beloved street markets of northern France and Belgium, Braderie South reimagines the braderie format for a luxury American audience. Think less flea market and more fine arts promenade. The event brings together a discerning mix of renowned antique dealers, jewelers, galleries, and local artisans to offer a weekend of timeless finds and personal stories.

Held on Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, the market will be open to guests from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Single-day tickets are available in advance for $15, or $20 for the full weekend, and the first 200 guests each day will receive a complimentary commemorative Braderie tote—an elegant touch befitting the setting.
