Launching Friday, August 8, at Biscayne Commons, the new outpost marks the family-run brand’s second location, expanding a story that began as a spontaneous idea between a father and son.

Founded by the Gilinsky family—Ronen and his sons Ori and Tal—Lily’s has grown into a beloved destination for ice cream enthusiasts seeking creativity, authenticity, and a sense of fun. What began with the purchase of a Delray Beach storefront and zero ice cream experience has evolved into a dynamic local brand recognized for its fresh-made batches, unique flavors, and cult following.

Ori Gilinsky, co-owner and self-taught ice cream maker, leads the flavor development process. Drawing on inspiration from global travels and a commitment to keeping things playful, Ori developed his craft with the help of YouTube tutorials and generous mentors. “We’re not here to replicate what’s already out there; we want people to try something they’ve never had before,” says Ori. Named after his sister, Lily’s embodies a spirited and personal approach to one of life’s simplest pleasures.

The new North Miami Beach location mirrors the essence of its Delray counterpart—handcrafted, small-batch scoops made in-house using only all-natural ingredients with no preservatives or artificial flavors. It’s an uncompromising commitment to quality, with a kosher-certified menu that includes gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options for broader inclusivity.

Signature flavors anchor the menu, ranging from nostalgic to inventive:

• Dusty Monkey: Brown sugar banana ice cream with biscoff cookie crumbles

• South Florida Swamp: Chocolate with Oreo cookies and chocolate chips

• Fairy Floss: Cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles and frosted Animal Crackers

• Wolverine Delight: Cake batter ice cream with brownies, sprinkles, and cookie dough

To celebrate the grand opening, Lily’s has partnered with local personalities to craft limited-time flavors available exclusively throughout August. Collaborators include:

The excitement kicks off at noon on Friday, August 8. The first 100 guests will receive a complimentary scoop of their choice—a sweet incentive to beat the Miami heat. On Saturday, August 9, customers who sign up for the Lily’s Rewards Program (online or in-store) will be entered to win free ice cream for an entire year, sweetening the deal even further.
