On August 13, 2025, Michelin-starred Ômo by Jônt debuted The Salon at Ômo, offering guests an elegant new way to experience Chef Ryan Ratino’s celebrated culinary artistry. This refined living room–style space invites visitors to enjoy curated bites, rare vintages, and craft cocktails, either as a prelude to the restaurant’s signature tasting menu or as a standalone indulgence.

A New Chapter for Ômo by Jônt

Known for its 16-seat chef’s-counter format and meticulous attention to detail, Ômo has earned a reputation as one of Winter Park’s most exclusive dining destinations. The Salon transforms the restaurant’s former living room into a space dedicated to approachable luxury, where guests can explore Michelin-level creativity without committing to the full multi-course counter experience.

“It’s a space where craft meets comfort—an elegant yet approachable setting that celebrates conversation, flavor, and the simple joy of great food and wine.”
Chef Ryan Ratino

A Menu Built for Sharing and Savoring

The Salon’s offerings balance playfulness with precision, beginning with “snacks” served in pairs. Highlights include fresh crudo or pillowy steam buns from Ômo’s Pastry Parlor oven ($12), foie gras nutter butters from sister restaurant MAASS ($14), and briny oysters sourced through Hive’s D.C. venue, Bresca ($14).

For those seeking more indulgent plates, the menu features a $68 caviar service and an A5 wagyu sando priced at $95. Dessert selections maintain the sense of whimsy, with $15 shaved-ice kakigori and $12 sweet mochi tacos. Each dish is designed to complement The Salon’s Champagne, rare vintage wines, and cocktail program, creating a dining experience that encourages lingering conversation.

Three Distinct Culinary Spaces

The launch of The Salon marks a significant evolution for Ômo, which now offers guests three distinct experiences under one roof:

  • The Salon at Ômo – An intimate space for lighter fare, exceptional wines, and a convivial atmosphere.

  • The Chef’s Counter – The restaurant’s original 16-seat, Michelin-starred tasting menu experience.

  • The Pastry Parlor – A sweet finale to the counter journey, with a creative narrative of its own.

An Invitation to Indulge

Open to both reservations and walk-ins, The Salon provides a more accessible entry point into Ômo’s world of precision cooking and thoughtful hospitality. Guests may arrive early for a tasting menu reservation or simply stop in for a glass of Champagne and a few shared plates, all while experiencing the same level of craftsmanship that defines Chef Ratino’s culinary vision.

In The Salon, the energy is as integral as the flavors, a place where laughter flows as easily as the wine, and where each bite feels like a shared secret between chef and guest.
