SKI SOULS is a travel company that organizes luxury ski and snowboard trips for single and solo travelers, providing week-long adventures that include hotel accommodations, ski passes, mountain tours, group activities, and skiing or snowboarding for all abilities. Travelers make new friends on the mountain, at group lunches and dinners, and have fun aprés ski.

Bruce Berkman and Gundula Brattke were themselves soloers when they met and founded SKI SOULS in 2017. After trying a few travel options for solo skiers, East Germany native Gundula decided to take things into her own hands. Her former careers in Germany's film industry and New York's fashion circles taught her a great deal about connecting people, creating unique group experiences, and keeping her eyes on every single detail involved. Her goal was and is to create a luxury first-class winter getaway for adults. As for Bruce, after decades of working long hours on Wall Street he decided to turn his favorite pastime activity into a business. His research obsession doesn't leave anything to chance and guarantees smooth travel experiences with each trip.

Their goal is the same: to connect singles, friends and couples that may ski on different levels to form new friendships and connections with skiers on the same level by providing a stress-free vacation. Soloers and couples who have never skied are also welcome to bond with the group, take a lesson and enjoy activities. Each experience is individually personalized by scouting out each location before deciding to extend to a group. Locations that make the cut include destinations with beautiful scenery, wonderful restaurants and plenty to do.

Activities on a SKI SOULS trip, aside from three-course meals at hand-picked restaurants and happy hours, can include mountain tours, tubing, local brewery tours, fat-tire biking and sleigh rides. Trip prices range from $1600-$3400 per person for a 6-night stay. There are currently three annual trips that take place in Colorado and Canada with plans to increase to six by 2019. They would also like to expand to ski destinations in Europe, naming Austria or Switzerland as possibilities.

The next trip, March 4th-10th, will be to Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia. Generation X and Babyboomers will be staying at The Adara Hotel, a top-ranked boutique hotel in the heart of Whistler Village. With a brand-new roof-top that includes a hot tub and a pool, the Adara is the perfect spot for relaxation and socializing. Price to book spans from $1600-$2400 and your package includes 6 nights with a full breakfast, a 4 of 5 day lift pass, a guided mountain tour, two three-course dinners, happy hours, group activities and a group farewell on the last night. Additionally, SKI SOULS will find you a roommate if you opt for a shared room.

The final trip of the year, targeting millennials, is to Vail, Colorado on March 24th-30th. Guests will stay at the fabulous Tivoli Lodge in the village of Vail, close to lifts, bars, and shops. The hotel is less than a block away from the new Vista Bahn Gondola, the main access point to Vail mountain. The trip is priced at $3400 for a single room or $2400 for a shared room and includes 6 nights at the Tivoli with a full breakfast, a 4 of 5 days lift pass, a welcome dinner, and a goodbye gathering at a local restaurant.
